scpa0305 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Not sure on St.Clair being out either but I did think Murphy played one of his better games last weekend although not sure I would have put him on the Schmaltz line. If that line struggles early I hope Hak makes the quick switch back to Olson on it. I think that the only way Murph is successful is if he's on a scoring line. You put a guy like that in the bottom 6 and he is useless. He doesn't seem to have the energy/grit to play bottom 6. Quote
NewUNDAlum Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Thompson > Mattson Thompson > Ausmus Thompson > Stetcher Just my opinion. I think the debate of who should play on the back end should be between Ausmus, Stetcher and Mattson. Right now I would try: Schmatlz-Ladue Thompson-Poolman Stetcher-Ausmus I love the length, scoring ability and two way play of the first two pairing. The third pairing gives us a combination of physicality in Ausmus with a heady player in Stetcher. I just don't think Mattson does anything great. Don't get me wrong, he is a good player but outside of experience what does he bring to the table that the other guys don't? Quote

I also think Keaton will be a better player than Stetcher in the long wrong, if I have mentioned several times, however Stetch is playing really good hockey right now. I don't see him coming out. burd Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Question: If you only have one game on the weekend, do you get to celebrate the TCS (Traditional Circle of Sticks) if you win? Quote
bcblues Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Question: If you only have one game on the weekend, do you get to celebrate the TCS (Traditional Circle of Sticks) if you win? I guess technically it is a sweep, or is it? Quote
bcblues Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Damn, that is how not to start a game. 0-1 AFA Quote
Fetch Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 So far we look like we did against Bemidji 1 Air Force 0 sioux Quote
scpa0305 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Top 2 d on the ice three forwards all standing still. Quote
bcblues Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Gad, it looks like Air Force is on a PP. Quote
Dead Yedi Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 That tie Hak is wearing is hideous. Sioux are really going to have to fight through that. Quote
bcblues Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Wow, AFA had players stacked in the crease. Quote
bcblues Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Definitely "uninspired". Hopefully Hak will "inspire them" during the intermission. Quote
scpa0305 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 This team shocks me over and over again. This Air Force goalie has a 3+ gaa and an 88 sv % on the year. We're going to help him out a bit. Quote
