Mariucci Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 They used the camera behind the Michigan net for the first 6 minutes of the game. Not by design. There were technical difficulties with the typical camera angle so they needed to use the other. Quote

MafiaMan Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 Smart play short-handed by the Gophers leads to a 4 on 2 jailbreak for Michigan..and a goal. Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 LOL! Any guesses who immediately afterward crumples in a heap in the corner on the next shift, leading to a 5:00 boarding call on Michigan? Quote

MafiaMan Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 And any guesses who feels OK enough to stay out for the first face-off of the PP? Quote
Godsmack Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 And any guesses who feels OK enough to stay out for the first face-off of the PP? Rau? Quote
Godsmack Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 What bugs me about that play wasn't necessarily the Wolverine player getting a 5 minute major but how Rau sold it and seemingly acted hurt but miraculously was able to be right back out there on the PP. 2 Quote
Godsmack Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 And that's a good BINGO! I bet you say it just like the guy on Inglorious Basterds! Quote
cberkas Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 WOW that was a nice goal Michigan and Minnesota tied 3-3 Quote
Godsmack Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 And there's some justice...Michigan ties it up. Quote

Mariucci Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 LOL! Any guesses who immediately afterward crumples in a heap in the corner on the next shift, leading to a 5:00 boarding call on Michigan? He crumpled? Your bias is embarrassing. As obvious as a 5 minute major gets. Quote
Mariucci Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 And there's some justice...Michigan ties it up. Justice? That would mean the major was a bad call. Quote
Godsmack Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Justice? That would mean the major was a bad call. Good call, just didn't like the sell job by Rau. Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 He crumpled? Your bias is embarrassing. As obvious as a 5 minute major gets. Penalty was deserved, indeed. Great job by Rau to peek to his left before the hit, anticipate it, and then sell it. Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 Your bias is embarrassing. Speaking of embarrassing...how about the boys back in the studio talking about how there's just so much high end talent on this Gopher team that sometimes they just get bored. BORED! LOL! 1 Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 Michigan wins it in OT 4-3. We're all spared from having DaveK remind us how great shootouts are. Quote
Mariucci Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Michigan Beats Minnesota 4-3 Great game. Things just aren't clicking for the Gophers. Played a very good road game and still lose. Good thing its early January. Knowing your team hasn't come close to peaking is exciting but also nerve racking wondering if it will happen. On a side note, with all the talk of the BIG hockey conference being down there is still no doubt that it has two teams very capable of winning it all. And I really think it's as down as it can be.
