Blackheart Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I like how HD Internet streaming is somehow going "backward" in technology. I like how a hockey webcast is comparable to watching on tv. Quote
Snake Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I like how a hockey webcast is comparable to watching on tv. Well, the picture on the webcast is far superior to the SD FCS broadcasts last year. I can actually see the puck and read the graphics at the top of te screen. Obviously, a national TV contract in HD would be ideal, but the webcast has been an upgrade for me this year. Quote
Goon Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 FWIW, that alternate channel is available nationally via the DirecTV sports package. And it's in HD too. Quote

To be fair, midco's sd feed last year was horrible, the worst I've ever seen on fta. No doubt even worse on directtv. 2 Quote

Blackheart Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 And it's in HD too. The Comcast version I get is definitely not HD...channel 254... Quote
