redwing77 Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 They were chanting overrated going on the commercial break? How can you be in last place and be overrated? Quote
SiouxTupa Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Do my ears deceive me?! OVERRATED!!!!... you have got to be kidding me, if that is indeed what they are chanting. That deserves a laugh. Ha Ha Quote
flatspin7 Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Tech is overrated--- they deserve to be in the CHA Quote
farce poobah Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 I could have sworn I heard an "overrrated" chant. Quote
SiouxTupa Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 HA! 5min major for running JPar. What the ... were they just chanting before that? My best guess was "how bout Greene"...but that doesn't make too much sense, does it? Quote
sprig Posted January 18, 2004 Author Posted January 18, 2004 5 minute major on Helminen! Absolutely deserved. Lundbohm gets a two minute in the scrum that followed. Quote
SiouxTupa Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 I've never heard a PA announcer say "Roughing the Goaltender" with so much gusto...it's like its the only thrilling announcement he's made today...hmm well ok maybe it does make sense. Quote
sprig Posted January 18, 2004 Author Posted January 18, 2004 Right, TH, that was a bad call. Jones clearly pushed into Luker by Scott. Oh well. Quote
redwing77 Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 equalization penalty on Jones. Major is irrelevant now. Quote
SiouxTupa Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 JPar standing on his head. Good for him. Quote
flatspin7 Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Dis is Bullsnot- Jones getting a penalty for being pushed into a goalie, TH was less than thriled. Quote
sprig Posted January 18, 2004 Author Posted January 18, 2004 equalization penalty on Jones. Major is irrelevant now. Except that Tech gets a PP until Lundbohm is out. Great saves by JPar during the PK. Quote
Fedorov Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Will the fans start cheering, "We still suck?" Quote
sprig Posted January 18, 2004 Author Posted January 18, 2004 PP goal for the Sioux, 3-0, looked like Murray tipping Genoway's point shot. Sounds like Genoway gets the goal from Parise and Bochenski. Quote
flatspin7 Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...... ooooooool Powerplay!!! Quote
A.B.T.G. Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Will the fans start cheering, "We still suck?" No need to have the Tech fans state the OBVIOUS!!!!! Quote
Fedorov Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 It will be amazing if Briggs pitches another shutout tonight. I know it is Mankato but I saw him play against CC and he looked so much better than he did in GF. If the hold MSU scoreless, the Sioux will be trying to break a 11 period scoreless streak next weekend. Parise scores. Non-factor, Mankato scored. Quote
choyt3 Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 I've never heard a PA announcer say "Roughing the Goaltender" with so much gusto...it's like its the only thrilling announcement he's made today...hmm well ok maybe it does make sense. Hennesey said something earlier like "that's what happens when you give a cheerleader a microphone". i guess Tim's never heard Brian Lee Rivers announce Sioux football or basketball. Now that guy has some gusto. Quote
SiouxTupa Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 "The line formerly known as The Money Line" strikes again. Murray (7?) from Parise and Bochenski. Mankato finally puts the SO streak to an end. 2-1 MN Now they say it's Genoway from ZP and BB Z Par scores again (10) from BM and BB Powerplay again Quote
southpaw Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 SCOOOORE!! Zach with his 2nd of the game, assist to Murray and maybe Big Ticket Quote
sf340flier Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Haven't heard any "over-rated" chants lately.... Quote
7>4 Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 CC scores to make it 1-1. Duluth right back to make it 2-1. Quote
SiouxTupa Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 If they change that to Murray it will be his 9th not 7th. I couldn't remember, so I looked it up. 100, maybe out of reach, but these three guys are definately heating up! Quote
