01grad
Forget the Fine Line, that can be our second line led by Bochenski. I like the gold mine line. 1-0 us six minutes in.
01grad
I'll post the goals for those that might want to know the details, if somebody else is on feel free to take it further. I wish I could be there, but oh well I'll just watch the Wild, Gophers and listen to us over the computer. The first one was Murray from Stafford and Parise. jimdahl
Just peeking at the game between a workout and a shower. Looks like AA is going into their 2nd power play. Apparently they didn't do much on the 1st. UND cross-checks early in the power play bringing on a 3-5 for about 1:20.
jimdahl
PP goal for AA with about 10 secs left on the PP. UAA 1 UND

farce poobah
Second period underway. UAA penalty. Stafford "drew" it. Sometimes I just crack myself up. GOAL UND!!! 2-
01grad
Sioux 2-1. PP goal by Bochenski from Fylling?

01grad
Gophers starting, Woog predicts a split.
jimdahl
Did they announce who officially had our second goal yet? I think they gave it to Bochenski, though changes afterward are not unprecedented. I didn't see it, myself, but I thought I heard that they decided Porter didn't tip it. 01grad
Sounds like the Goldies are hustling at 100%. Perhaps this isn't the best nickname for them though. Goal by Murray 3-2. Going for the hatrick? Parise with an assist.
01grad
Boucher gets the record against the Wild. Congrats, but the Wild need a couple now to win.
01grad
Maybe I shouldn't have used the word "rout" in my discussion title. The way it started out though I would have figured we would score at least 5. We'll wait and see, hopefully I didn't jinx us.
01grad
Sounds like Prpich checked fatty and bounced right off of him. Must have been funny to see. Hopefully we have a good sign for Fournier in the box.
01grad
The kiss cam sign and the separated at birth (Fournier and grimmace) it took Tim awhile to figure it out. We will definitely need pics!!!
01grad
3-2 good guys after 2 periods. 2 for 4 on the PP, finally starting to find the back of the net, though AA's penalty kill is the pits.
sprig
UAA did a major holding and tackling job that period, whenever the Sioux got the cycling going. It is being let go. Unfortunately the one time the Sioux held (the stick), Schneider is given the penalty. To the Sioux's credit, the UAA players aren't big/strong enough to take them down, no matter how hard they try Prpich tried to get Fornier to go, but Fornier did his Claude Lemieux turtling imitation. Parise line has been all over UAA every shift. Fourth line doing well also. The second and third line need to move their feet and get into position to make short passes throught the neutral zone. They've been sluggish all game so far. Maybe the scrum will get all the Sioux forwards going.
NorthDakotaHockey
0-0 Gophers and CC in a monumental first period. End-to-end, and a whole raft of unconscious saves by both Briggs and McElhaney. Any of us who might think that the Sioux have a walk in the park ahead of them may well be sadly mistaken. The WCHA is one ass-kicking league. Fall asleep at the wheel and only bad things might happen. I hate the Gophers. Sioux are going to the Springs end of March for the West Regional. Tigers will be there on the Michigan Rule. Buy your tickets now.
01grad
Bochenski scores with 2 man advantage. Now we have 2 players going for the hat-trick, who will get it? Sioux 4-2 CC 1-0 over the Gophers.
Ghost of Smith
Goal!!!! 4-2!! Bochenski is one hell of player to state the obvious! 01Grad I see you are stuck at home also.

NorthDakotaHockey
Bochenski power play. CC scores. Gophers back at it about twenty seconds later. 1-1 in the Springs. 4-2 at The Ralph.
