42 Year old attorney found dead in a rest stop near Hillsboro....in the Family Bathroom.

Steven M. Light was found dead Wednesday evening inside a rest stop along Interstate 29 just south of Hillsboro, N.D..The department, North Dakota Highway Patrol and Hillsboro Ambulance all responded, where they found Light’s body in the family restroom between the men’s and women’s facilities.

Anyone heard if they are suspecting foul play? Seems odd for some one to pass away in a rest stop area bathroom. I guess crazier things have happened and it certainly could just be natural causes. I didn't know the man but he seemed like a decent fellow and he was an alum.

Oh, this makes me sad. We were on the debate team together. From the description in the article, it doesn't sound like he changed too much from college. My thoughts go out to his family.

Wow, this is so sad. He and I worked together at Silverman's in downtown Grand Forks. As some others have said, we often disagreed, but I always knew where he stood.

When did he work at Silerman's? Was that when Todd, Steve, and Frank worked there?

Todd was already on his way to Minneapolis (Neimann Marcus) when I got there in the fall of 92. I'm assuming you mean Steve Silverman? Yes, he was there throughout my time there. I don't remember a Frank...

Chris, Randy, Brad, Jim, Robin, Mike, Brett, Marc, Reggie, Scott, Doug, and countless others were there during my time (1992-98).

Don't forget Sam. A classy gentleman if there ever was one.

I remember Steve when he worked there too, before he went to law school.

Nope they were all there before you were.

The guys I mentioned all worked there before you did except for Todd who I saw at NM a couple of weeks ago.

Oh, I see. Did you work at Silverman's, too? I really enjoyed my time there and learned a lot about people.
