ticklethetwine Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Anyone heard if they are suspecting foul play? Seems odd for some one to pass away in a rest stop area bathroom. I guess crazier things have happened and it certainly could just be natural causes. I didn't know the man but he seemed like a decent fellow and he was an alum. Quote
watchmaker49 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 He was dang good at playing lets make a deal. Quote
ScottM Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Wow. I remember Steve from law school. We didn't always see eye-to-eye, but he had the courage of his beliefs. Quote

UNDershirt Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 The last sentence was pretty sad... Quote
207Sioux Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Oh, this makes me sad. We were on the debate team together. From the description in the article, it doesn't sound like he changed too much from college. My thoughts go out to his family. Quote
Dave Berger Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Wow, this is so sad. He and I worked together at Silverman's in downtown Grand Forks. As some others have said, we often disagreed, but I always knew where he stood. Dave Quote

The Sicatoka Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I'm guessing it was when Dave Berger worked there. Indubitably, my dear Mr. Watson. Quote
Dave Berger Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 When did he work at Silerman's? Was that when Todd, Steve, and Frank worked there? Todd was already on his way to Minneapolis (Neimann Marcus) when I got there in the fall of 92. I'm assuming you mean Steve Silverman? Yes, he was there throughout my time there. I don't remember a Frank... Chris, Randy, Brad, Jim, Robin, Mike, Brett, Marc, Reggie, Scott, Doug, and countless others were there during my time (1992-98). Dave Quote

I remember Steve when he worked there too, before he went to law school. Quote
