Described as "little more than officially sanctioned gang fights", the end result was on fist fights on the field or on the street. Name the University to the south that was our rival on the football field for many years and the trophy that the two teams played for. 2. The Memorial Union became a part of UND to provide a central place for the UND community to meet, obtain daily services and amenities, and to sponsor activities.
