stardog Posted November 20, 2003 Posted November 20, 2003 Hey all. Can anyone give me a scouting report on Andy Schneiders game? What style is he. Will he make the NHL? What is his top end realistic potential? What NHLer does he play like? Thanks in advance. Quote
redwing77 Posted November 20, 2003 Posted November 20, 2003 Hey all. Can anyone give me a scouting report on Andy Schneiders game? What style is he. Will he make the NHL? What is his top end realistic potential? What NHLer does he play like? Thanks in advance. Physical presence with an offensive bend to him. He's a good checker and a good positioning dman on defense who knows how to score. Will he make the NHL? Hard to say because he was drafted by Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh can't afford McDonalds right now. I would say he is worthy of the NHL, but I don't see him as much of a scoring threat in the NHL though. Definitely will make it, but hopefully Pittsburgh will trade him for cash or something. Quote
stardog Posted November 21, 2003 Author Posted November 21, 2003 Hey thanks for the reply. Anyone else? How does Hudler look btw... Quote
Fedorov Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 How does Hudler look btw... Not as good as Mapletoft. Quote
Superman0099 Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 Not as good as Mapletoft. Mapletoft is a machine. Quote

CoteauRinkRat Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 Who would win in a fight? Mapletoft or Hudler Quote
sioux fan in phoenix Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 Who would win in a fight? Mapletoft or Hudler Get real. If you'd been paying any attention at all this season you'd definitely choose Mapletoft Quote
The Sicatoka Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 Who would win in a fight? Mapletoft or Hudler Dit-ka, driving a school bus. Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 Dit-ka, driving a school bus. against Mapletoft....Mini-Dit-ka could take Hudler Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 Dit-ka over Mapletoft? wow, tough choice Quote
PCM Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 Hudler is a hack. Ditka is a has-been. Mapletoft is Lindros, Gretzky and Domi all rolled into one. Schneider could pulverize any of them with one hand tied behind his back. Quote

PCM Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 Especially during the time they're spending at UND With Andy being 6-8, 275 pounds, I'm sure the thought has crossed his mind. Quote

yzerman19 Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 I'll always remember Andy as Toby's pudgy little brother trying to play with us "big kids" at the Kelly elementary outdoor rink. Quote

I'll never forget the pick-up games with Mapletoft and Hudler over at University Park. Mapletoft was unstoppable and simply scored at will. Hudler perfected his slashing, high-sticking, boarding and cross-checking skills. Those were the good old days. Quote

Thats where it all started.... crazy... Quote
