UND-1 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Also said that it is highly unlikely that they will return. I missed that part. That is not good, I was hoping Javen Butler would be the next safety for UND. Quote
Hambone Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Do PWO's go through the NLI process? I don't recall from prior years. Quote

homer Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Secondary, namely safety will be the biggest question mark heading into next season. Not a real good thing in the Big Sky but there will be opportunity for a young guy or two to step up and get some quality playing time. Quote

Interesting that Dwayne Brown almost got his RS pulled last year. Hopefully he's ready for next year. Safety also concerns me. Quote

homer Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Galloday's highlights are sweet. Our WR corps we recruited this year is a pretty talented group. Quote
Hambone Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Wasn't sure on Kenny Golladay, but after watching the highlights I think we have our diamond in the rough. Very talented. A lot of plays the QB just threw the ball up and he had to make a play to get it. Very impressive. Quote
captsioux Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 we did get fletcher!!! No. 16 commit in: ANTHONY FLETCHER WR, 6-3, 195 Goodyear, Ariz. (Desert Edge H.S.) Hometown: Goodyear, Ariz. Quote
UND92,96 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but between what has happened with Aaron Smith, Anya Gafu and the Butlers, maybe we see why there seemed to be less recruiting in Cali this year than the past couple of years. Quote
UND Fan Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 Tanner Vesledahl? You beat me to it - I was just typing the same question! Quote

Hambone Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Tanner Vesledahl? Sounds like a walk on from Mott Regent. 6"3, 207 lbs. http://www.maxpreps.com/athletes/aM0m1XjR50i8IxGUTQ5FuA/football-fall-11/profile-tanner-vesledahl.htm Quote
Westside Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) From the known verbal listed we had on here, looks like all but Jared Tuilagi have signed this morning. Tuilagi is in Pacific time zone, so I expect his will be coming later this morning. Great to have everyone signed & not lose anyone at the last minute! Matt, UNDsports.com: No. 17 commit: JARED TUILAGI LB, 6-2, 220 Henderson, Nev. (Liberty H.S.) High School Coach: Rich Muraco Tuilagi is in.... Edited February 1, 2012 by Westside Quote

Joe Schobert would be the only one left, although we may not see him if he is not getting a scholarship. Quote
Hambone Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Must have offered Vesledahl a scholie if they are announcing him as number 18. Quote
captsioux Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Must have offered Vesledahl a scholie if they are announcing him as number 18. They can only announce walk ons who have payed their dorm deposit. So that may be why Vesledahl is able to be announced. Quote
Hambone Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Must have offered Vesledahl a scholie if they are announcing him as number 18. Nevermind - it appears the PWO's are starting to come in, as Jake Watson is number 19. Quote
captsioux Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 19. JAKE WATSON LB, 6-2, 200 Mandan, N.D. (Mandan H.S.) High School Coach: Pat O’Brien Walk on.. paid dorm deposit Quote
