kr
Goal scoring by the Sioux and their ranked opponents 1st period: UND = 1 BC/UMD = 4 2nd period: UND = 3 BC/UMD = 3 3rd period: UND = 6 BC/UMD = 1 of the 10 scored by UND - all at even strength (2 were 4 x 4) of the 8 scored by BC/UMD - 1 shorthanded, 3 ppg and 4 at even strength the one goal scored in the 3rd against the Sioux was on a UMD pp ...... One line combo I've heard tossed out was Prpich, Fylling & McMahon -- some speed, grit and maybe a little orneriousness (okay, that's not a word, but it is an attitude). U2Bad1
Brandt plays awesome and he will probably start? I suppose you guys need to remember that brandt still has legal trouble looming over his head.
UMDDogz
Anyone know the rules on dressing and not dressing a player? My question regards the warmups 30 min before game time. If a player dresses and skates during that warm up, can he still be scratched for the game and another replace him? In other words, if Schneider tries to skate in the pregame warmups and cannot do it, can Foyt be added to the roster and Schneider scratched? Full lineups must be submitted 15 minutes prior to start time. NCAA Rule 2-3 Section 4.a
WPoS
I agree...I like ours better without Schneider than MN's without Ballard and maybe Harrington. WPoS...who all from POI is making it up here for the games? Are they gonna be tailgating? Don't really know if anyone is coming up from POI. Tickets are so dang hard to get, our "friends" at some UND board didn't look to help out! I think maybe I know of two people coming up, so I doubt they will be tailgating...but I MAY possibly invite your guys to 'gating for the game at Mecca for those coming down (if you didn't see, I WAS goign to come up, but am in a wedding this weekend in SC). I wanted to school you punks in BeerDarts! WPoS

Here's Blais's take on the Potulny boys: "It was probably our mistake that we didn't get Grant," Blais said. "It was probably Ryan's mistake that he didn't come here." Fedorov
Does anyone know if they're still doing quick faceoffs? Last year they test ran quicker faceoffs & the games were somewhat shorter. No, I don't think they enforce it this year. They are quicker than two years ago, probably out of habbit from last year, but they are longer and they won't drop the puck with a player missing. kr
What was CB's excuse last year then? He (CB) doesn't need an excuse, he's the friggin' coach -- YOU want to decide who plays goalie, apply for the coaching job next time there's an opening ..... ScottM
Yep, I'd bet Deano had a big grin on his face when he made that statement. FWIW: I've been more impressed with Irmen than Ryan so far this season.

Marty
You couldn't pay me to watch the Gophers play somebody other than the Sioux unless it was an NHL team vs. the Gophers because they would literally kill them.

Agree, it is better than most anything else on Friday or Saturday night and if you can't watch the Sioux, might as well watch the goofs (while you listen to the Sioux). I'll also agree. I love watching college hockey, no matter who's playing. I especially like watching the Gophers play other WCHA teams because it helps provide a measuring stick on how teams in the league match up against each other. Some might be interested to know that when Minnesota games are televised and the Sioux are playing at home, there's always at least one TV in the REA press box tuned to the Gopher game.
