I have lived in Chicagolond for the past 13 years and I have never seen this town so on fire for the Blackhawks. This video sums it up well!

Blackhawks Bandwagon Fans Video

I was just telling my friend the other day how funny it is to see so many people buying Hawks gear at the sporting good stores now that they are

doing so well. The stores are packed with people buying Hawks shirts and hats and everything else. Good stuff. Nice to see Toews name all over town.

LET'S GO HAWKS!!!!

good for chicago, nothing wrong with some bandwagon fans joining in and good for them. i always laugh at the fans that are die hards or whatever you want to call themselves get upset over it or question them, hell the more the marrier :glare: every sport city is the same way and especially if the team doesnt do jack for 20-30 years! go toews and go hawks! win that cup and add another sioux to the stanley cup....ive found myself a blues/hawks/devils fan now only because of osh/jonny/z and zpar ;) my true team is phoenix but who knows how long that will last if they stick around or not. go sioux

I don't own a Hawks jersey yet but I am nearly 100% sure when I finally get one I will be putting Belfour on the back. I grew up playing goalie and worshipped Eddie when he helped us win the big one in 1987. I was

lucky enough to be at the Joe Louis for the Frozen Four and watch the Sioux win in front of 17,000 hostile Spartan fans. Sure was silent in that arena by the end of the game! :-)

AZ, what is the latest on the Coyotes? I heard that the owner of the White Sox may be interested in buying them. It would be a shame if they leave Phoenix after the season they had this past year. I was pulling for them.

I like playing with them on NHL 10 on my XBOX! :glare:

No offense to the city of Phoenix, but the Coyotes need to get out of there. Sure, they sell some tickets when they are doing good, but they need a city that will support them a little better during the rougher years.

Wherever that takes them, I don't know and don't really care, but the franchise deserves better. The nice thing about Phoenix is the decent sized population that moved there from the north, and are hockey fans. The problem though is that the people that may have moved there and are hockey fans already have an allegiance with their original favorite.

That's why you see so many Packers and Vikings fans in AZ when you see the two teams travel to Phoenix.

of course it would be the best for he franchise to move, it would also make sense to have no florida teams, no atlanta team and nashville. I dont have a issue with the california teams because gretzky brought it there and is the reason that we have hockey in non traditional hockey markets. put all those teams in so called hockey markets along with phoenix. i have a strong passion for the coyotes having worked for them for the 05/06 season under the great one and 2 und alums who were all amazing people so i would hate to see them go but also understand if it happens which is a strong possibility. phoenix is very diverse, no doubt. unless you are a suns fan which dominates arizona as a whole everyone else has the az teams as their 2nd team which is fine as thats how i am with all az and miny teams except the az cardinals.

it is a big mess with the coyotes right now in trying to find a owner. seems its going to be phoenix or winnipeg when it al clears.

go sioux

You know...

I'll call myself out on this one.

My name is Redwing77, and I'm a Chicago Blackhawks bandwagon fan.

I've never really cared that much about the Hawks before Toews went there, despite both my parents being from Chicago and my father witnessing the last Stanley Cup championship Chicago won live (well he claims. I don't recall what the playoff format was back then nor do I know if they Hawks won the Cup at home or away that year).

No, I didn't even follow the Hawks when Belfour played there. I admit that, at that time, I wasn't yet into the NHL.

I still love my Wings and part of me is conflicted because no self-respecting Wings fan should ever think highly of the Hawks, but I guess I never paid much heed to that. However, ask me to root for the Wild or the Avalanche.... Not gonna happen.

Anyways, I admit that I'm a bandwagon fan.

There. Whew! :glare:
