Sioux-cia
WOW!! GO SIOUX! The score kinda scares me though. The Purple Cows always get chippy and nasty when they're losing to us. I just hope they don't hurt anybody.

brianvf
BU 3 BC 2 Final in the outdoor game UMD is throttling CC, 5-2 in the 3rd. UMN beat Harvard 5-2 with an ENG. SCSU beating MTU 4-2 in the 3rd. UAA and DU still tied at 1.

brianvf
How was that not a penalty on Frattin's rush?
BigGreyAnt41
How was that not a penalty on Frattin's rush? The two hooks cancel each other out, so it's no penalty.

BigGreyAnt41
Compared to a lot of games, there haven't been many whistles in these games. Especially not many times a goalie has covered up the puck while it's on the ice like Lee just did. Been a pretty fast game.

jk
How was that not a penalty on Frattin's rush? In Saskatoon that's probably a penalty shot. I was a bit embarrassed for our version of the sport after watching the WJC. Although the junior teams are more talented, the main difference is the constant use of the stick here. I'm guessing some guys could look pretty creative if they were allowed to play. Frattin looked great on the VV-Gregoire line and I hope they stick. brianvf
What happened? He had a chance for the hattrick with less than a minute to go and slammed into the goal post with his leg. He hobbled back to the bench. Not sure if he is injured or just needed to shake it off a bit.
siouxfan512
Here is a question for anyone that knows? If Chay cannot come back this year, can he still apply for a medical redshirt, or is that something he would have had to do earlier in the year?? Anyone know for sure? Awesome job tonight boys! Irish
Just got back from the game - Sadly, I had to settle for several of the shorter big beers - What crap - don't they have anything better to do Great effort by the Sioux - especially from the freshmen. It was nice to see them come out buzzing in the second after almost giving up the dreaded two goal lead. A few too many loose pucks floating around in front of the Sioux goal, but Eidsness held up well. Our team looked like they were out to score and put a lot of pressure on - If we continue this, we'll be tough to beat.
brianvf
Hopefully we see a similar effort tomorrow night. No letting off the throttle, we need the sweep!
