Griz 24-17 final. Very fun game!! And love that it was in real football weather.

Snow games are always fun to watch. I remember earlier this decade when Colgate was making a run for the Div. 1-AA championship and played one of their games in near-blizzard conditions. I agree: that is REAL football weather.

Montana has better fan support than a lot of lower-level D-1A ("FBS") programs. They should move up and compete in the WAC or MWC. If that ever came to fruition, the Griz could have a nice little rivalry going with Boise State.

Interesting note that we just heard about next year's expansion of the playoffs. I hadn't heard that before. Moving the championship game into January is slightly unorthodox. I know the bowl games go into January, but the teams that play in those games haven't played since the end of November (maybe beginning of December).

I'm surprised they were able to make that kind of change.
