mikeypat15 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 This is the only interpretation I have Rule 6-18-c-13 If the puck is between the goalkeeper Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Dell probably had a meltdown in the dressing room between periods. I take it he made a save on you that we are a little sore about? Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I take it he made a save on you that we are a little sore about? Quote
bcblues Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 On goalies, the second goal was a doe in the headlights moment for Dell. He did not react, either stepping out to challenge the rebound, or getting back into his ready stance. It was like..... huh? Quote
runamuck Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I take it he made a save on you that we are a little sore about? no he let in 8 goals on 15 shots in the playoffs and was crying the whole third period Quote
bcblues Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Another penalty kill situation. Are we still in the WCHA? Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Nice work Malone! Draw a penalty by working hard! I love that! Quote
bcblues Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Bout time. That flying elbow just wasn't enough to call? Really. Quote
brianvf Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Nice hack by Roe there. They need to start calling that before he injures someone as well. Quote
mikeypat15 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Also rule 5-3-a explains it. Yes I'm still researching this... As there is a human factor involved in blowing the whistle to stop play, the referee may intend for the play to be stopped slightly before the whistle actually being blown. For example, the fact that the puck may come loose or cross the goal line before the sound of the whistle has no bearing if the referee determined that the play had stopped. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Sioux need one more before the end of the period, and now would be a nice time for that one. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 PP really looks different without Chay moving the puck up the ice. Nice little dive by the goalie there, losing his blocker and everything. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 That's twice Kristo has let the point pass by him. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Penalty on the Sioux. Blood with a high stick. Let's go PK!!! Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 We need to pick it up and stop trying to play that physical as all it is doing is landing us in the box. Quote
jk Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Disagree. The Sioux need to get back to the physicality of the first period. SC doesn't like it. Quote
bcblues Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 SC is a quick team. Man em up, soften them up. This is the WCHA, which GENERALLY allows a bit more physical play than the wimpy east. Tonight seems to be the exception.... Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Blood getting fired up with LeBlanc. Quote
bcblues Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 LeBlanc would be a fool to throw down with Blood! Quote
