bincitysioux
03 Sam Houston State 42 Stephen F. Austin (6-1) I don't intend this to be smack-ish, though it will probably come off that way, but SFA beat us by 31 and beat Sam Houston by 39. I think SHSU beat NDSU by 3. I'm not inferring anything other than the fact that SFA has proven to be a real good football team, with a couple wins over Top 15 programs on their resume. They didn't get alot of credit for being as such from UND-haters when they steam-rolled over us back in September, although that hasn't proven to be a monumental task itself either. Let'sGoHawks!
This isn't about a SIOUX opponent this year, but I was just looking at South Dakota State's ESPN football page, and see they play Minnesota in a few weeks. Good luck to SDSU, I hope that game is on TV so I can watch another potentially tasty win over the golden ones by a dakota school. (SDSU won't have the crowd advantage with the new gopher stadium having limited seats available to visitors)

star2city
17 South Dakota (3-5) 21 Northern Colorado USD lost to N Colo. Three straight close games the Coyotes have lost. Their board wants Meierkort gone. Incredibly stupid, especially after two overtime losses. Next year's FBS opponents: Idaho moved to 7-2 with a 35-34 win over LaTech. Idaho will now almost certainly be going to a bowl. N Illinois moved to 5-3 with a 27-10 win over Akron. NIU also appears headed to a bowl. UND92,96
USD lost to N Colo. Three straight close games the Coyotes have lost. Their board wants Meierkort gone. Incredibly stupid, especially after two overtime losses. From a UND perspective I hope Meierkort stays at USD for as long as possible, because I certainly wouldn't want to see what somebody like DeBoer could do with 63 scholarships. If Meierkort were let go for some reason, I'm sure DeBoer would be at or near the top of their wish list.
Witt
....uh....let's not talk about DeBoer going anywhere....even though it's a real possibility....USD....or others...who knows...maybe even the Sioux or Bison..? Those sum'bitches had it coming and I was there to see it. I saw that. Very nice. I really liked the TD run in garbage time. Brought a smile to my face. I'm hoping with the year Oklahoma had, Stoops may end up at Notre Dame. That would bring another smile to my face.

UND1983
I found it interesting that two of our non-conference opponents from this year were league champions. Stony Brook won the Big South when they beat Liberty and effectively knocked them out of the playoffs. Stephen F Austin won the Southland and is playing Eastern Washington in the first round.
