Let'sGoHawks! Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 It is cool to see St Cloud up on Maine in the 4th. 24-20 with 8:42 to go. Back and forth game kind of reminds me of our trip to N. Iowa. I believe St Cloud has around 25 scholarships, where Maine has 62 or so. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 St Cloud and Maine going to OT. The Maine announcers just said St. Cloud receiver looks like Jerry Rice. Fred Williams is his name, has 14-171 !!! Quote

Let'sGoHawks! Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 St. Cloud lost 38-16 at Augie last week. I didn't expect this one to be this close. They are playing ridiculously. BUT, Maine just won it in OT. Quote
dj_hoime Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Iowa St. 27-17 NDSU. Near the end of the 3rd. Quote
Matt Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Iowa St. 27-17 NDSU. Near the end of the 3rd. Same story as last year. Talented team that turns scoring opportunities into turnovers which turn into points for the opponent. Lack of discipline off and on the field apparently. Quote
johnsowe Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 10-10 UMD-CW UMD last lost was to North Dakota Quote
dlsiouxfan Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Iowa State snaps one 10 game losing streak to almost certainly begin another one next weekend. Quote
sultan Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Iowa State finally found someone they could beat. I think it is still going to be a long year for Iowa State. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Poor NDSU...wait who am I kidding! Quote

Matt Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 I recorded sportcenter to watch the highlights of the ISU-NDSU game since there were so few college games last night. I saw Boise, So Carolina, Western Ill, hell, I even saw Duluth highlights; there were no Cyclone-Bison highlights. I guess you have to choose your Big 12 opponents more carefully. Quote

I will agree with that, they prefer not to waste valuable airtime showing highlights of a perennial doormat. Quote
Stromer Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Cheap shot punches: Oregon - 1 Boise St - 0 Ehh the BSU player had it coming. Quote
MplsBison Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 I will agree with that, they prefer not to waste valuable airtime showing highlights of a perennial doormat. I think it has more to do with what TV network(s) the game is on. The NDSU/ISU game was only on a local ISU cable network, so ESPN probably couldn't use any of that for highlights. Quote
