brianvf
kristo must have 3 shots per game on the PK. come on USA He's getting more and more playing time as the tourney goes on. I was surprised at how much he was out there against Canada. He'll for sure be fun to watch in a Sioux uni...good wheels on him.

Ray77
From what I've seen the past few years, it looks like USA hockey could use a major shake up from top to bottom. This is embarassing.

Assistant captain. what a idiot for throwing whatever he did He didn't throw anything. The slovaks were celebrating in front of the US bench (that's klassy, yes with a k) and one of their sticks came flying into the bench so he pushed it back out of his face. Should have played Unice, couldn't be any worse.
brianvf
And now Slovakia will lose by at least 5 goals to Sweden.

The Sicatoka
The meltdown started when they blew a three-buff lead over Team RedMaple. It was assured when Rolston didn't go after the official harder for what should have been a major in that game. Rolston tried to make up for it by trying to plead a high-stick-no-goal (it was clean) and the official said no. I was almost expecting him to "fly a Hakstol" at that point. Rolston clearly lost control right there, and when a coach does he loses the team. The lost team now hasn't shown up the next day. Meltdown complete. Let'sGoHawks!
now lucia wont have an excuse for schroeder and fairchild being worn out from the wjt wow, what a joke this team was They get to keep playing for 5th...so if they play poor against the Sioux, the reason will still be that they are really tired and worn out. Ray77
I am as disappointed as the next guy with this showing, but in their defense they did badly outplay the Slovakia team today. The Slovakian goalie had 44 saves (many of them outstanding) compared to McCollum's 14. McCollum may very well be the best goalie and deserved to be on the team and to start, but he shat the bed today and should have been pulled. I agree with whoever said it that this started vs. Canada, when they started showboating in front of the Canadian bench. Instead of being pissed about the sucker punch, Rolston should have given his players an a** chewing for their antics against Canada. A game is not 10 minutes long, and Canada is the WRONG team to be doing that against. It shouldn't happen against any team, especially Canada. This has become too commonplace for US teams to have such an embarassing showing at this tournament, and it needs to change.
