Hambone Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Good return for the Sioux past the 50. Lets get another score boys. Quote
Matt Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Another no gain for murray. Why even attempt to run at this point? Spread murray out and use him in space in the passing game. Quote
Matt Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 First and goal from the 10...TD Sioux. 33-21 Quote
Sioux27 Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 This TD is normally followed by about a 40 to 60 yard return and a 3 play TD drive........... Let's get the 3 & out and then make this thing close Quote
Matt Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Pooch kick...Salukis fair catch and start from about the 40 Quote

Matt Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 TD Murray, 10 yd rush (all kidding aside, your point is well taken) 21-33 When you are at the 10...spreading them out becomes tricky. Quote

Sioux27 Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 I wonder how our coaches will address our defense going into the last two games this year Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 I wonder how our coaches will address our defense going into the last two games this year It's going to take several years to fix the defense. This is the worst defense we've had in probably 20 years. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Seeing as though it's taken Bamba this far into the season to really become useful, I wonder if the coaches are regretting pulling his redshirt. Quote
Hambone Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Sounds like Bamba is playing well. INT for the Salukis. Quote
Matt Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Freund sacked...then on the next play picked off. Timing was off with Bamba, then didn't attempt to tackle the guy that intercepted it. Quote

dlsiouxfan Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Actually, we just need some coaching changes on the defensive side of the ball. Look at the difference between the Gophers defense this year and last year. It's amazing how quickly things can turn around when you get the right guys in place. Quote
dlsiouxfan Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Seeing as though it's taken Bamba this far into the season to really become useful, I wonder if the coaches are regretting pulling his redshirt. Honestly, the redshit isn't as beneficial at the D-I level. With the five year rule and the near impossibility of a player from a program outside of the BCS getting a medical hardship it's almost better to have that redshirt year as an insurance policy against a season ending injury.
