phriq
Welcome to the board! Too bad it couldn't be under better circumstances! Thanks! I dunno, after JP, Oshie, and all the others left, I figured this would be a year or rebuilding. Then all the hype came and started building the team up and I guess iIgot my hopes up to... I have faith they can pull through a do a decent season. Even last year they started off not so good (though not this bad) and came out really well. I just hope Dunc and the rest of the seniors can start lifting this team.
Tsiouxnami
Rodents hang on to win 3-2. Goofs got a little luck with the quick whistle when Kangas clearly didn't have the puck covered. Too bad, would have liked to have seen OT. Anyway, Sconnie and DU are tied 1-1 with 13 minutes left in the 2nd. DU is on the PP.
siouxforce19
A couple boys REALLY need to step up their game. Their names will remain nameless. Funny, I was at the bar before the game and I'm wishing I would have stayed there!
fightingsioux4life
I'm watching ESPN and the blue turf of Boise State! That alone is more entertaining than tonight's game in Mankato.
fightingsioux4life
Sioux Power Play 0-8 tonight. Terrible.

Funny, I was at the bar before the game and I'm wishing I would have stayed there! Looks like we'll play catch-up all season again.....Maybe they'll play better at home. A couple of home wins can do alot for the confidence.
siouxweet
this is not a very good team right now. I don't want to hear anyone say this is a good team just give them time. good teams do not start out the year 0-3. in fact can someone name the last national champion to start out the year 0-3, I can't. sounds like they spent a week of extra practice on special teams for nothing. this is fricking pathetic. My first year in college, the Sioux were a .500 team. My last year in college, they were a .500 team. It comes as a part of sports. Regardless of how they do this season, I'll still tune in every game. As with every Sioux fan, I sure enjoy the success, but can't expect a trip to the FF every year. Not ruling us out for this year, but I came into the season thinking that this would be a more difficult year for us, losing the leadership we had the last few years. I'd like to blame the goaltending, but it's a team game, and when you only score 1 goal in a game, the goaltending can't be the only area of weakness. Brainerd Sioux
Good thing they worked hard on special teams this week, how to give up short handed goals?
fightingsioux4life
I think we are looking at a possible 1-5 or even 1-7 start if we continue this level of play. I do think we will pull it together before Christmas, it's just going to take some time.
Siouxtimestwo
Since there's really nothing positive to say about the Sioux tonight, I'll just point out that Michigan State lost to UMass-Lowell at home yesterday and Michigan lost to Northern Michigan tonight. We might be playing like garbage, but at least we're not alone.

fightingsioux4life
what's going on??? are the boys playing that bad or are the mavs just the better team tonight? A little of both, I think. Mankato is going to be a good team this year. They'll finish in the top 5 and probably go to the NCAA's. We'll be lucky to have home ice at this rate. But I do think we'll get it together at some point.
fightingsioux4life
PP #9 coming up for North Dakota. And the goalie has been pulled.
Big A HG
By the sounds of it, I think the Sioux are trying to pound a hole through the goalies chest. If they manage to do it, I see no limits to the success of this team! They pull Walski on the powerplay! Great move! We all know the Huskies are going to score on the shorty, so why not give us another man advantage!
Siouxdonyms
Working on the 6 on 4 right now as the Sioux pull Walski.
