AZSIOUX
Good read on Oshie. http://www.bnd.com/sports/story/509740.html That's actually where I got that from is Coach (Dave) Hakstol in North Dakota," Oshie said. "He demands work ethic ... skill only goes so far and then you're work ethic's got to take over." And hard work is the main ingredient of a successful penalty kill. "I love the PK," Oshie said. "It's always fun when you're at a disadvantage to try to outwork the power play. That's what you're on the penalty kill for, to outwork them." UNDintheNHL
not a former sioux, but a former gopher Blake Wheeler scored his 2nd goal of the season a few mins ago for Boston. waited out the goalie (Toskala?) and bounced it off the defender. UND85
Stafford gets a goal and assist as the Sabres win. Nice interview and a short segment between periods of him playing for the Sioux during the Final 5. Seems like only yesterday old #18 was playing for us. redwing77
i found it intriguing that, though limited in his shootout experience, Drew Stafford is actually converting on 60% of his shootout attempts (ok, so it is 6 out of 10, but hey, that's still good). phriq
I am really surprised that they are sending Porter down. I thought he was doing pretty good from what Blues games I had seen.
RedFrog
I am really surprised that they are sending Porter down. I thought he was doing pretty good from what Blues games I had seen. Agreed, and he was getting a lot of PK time too. But, the only reason he was on the team was due to injuries. He was sent down like 3 days before the season started and then called up just prior to the first game. With people getting healthy, I'm assuming that is why he was sent down. Gave a good showing and will definitely be back up before too long.

AZSIOUX
I am really surprised that they are sending Porter down. I thought he was doing pretty good from what Blues games I had seen. he is a fill in player as of now in his young career. if there isnt a injury and he isnt in the lineup, he is better fit to play every night in the AHL rather than sitting in the press box for the blues being the 13th or 14th forward. he will be up and down and eventually be a nice 3rd or 4th liner for the blues in years to come
