Here's his player bio from nhl.com, very good comments from the central scouting report.

I also found this on espn.com, about the draft order. This mock draft says there are some people in Atlanta who want Parise at the #8 spot overall. Or at the #12 spot to the Rangers.

ESPN mock draft

Something that suprises me, on USCHO the mock draft shows Brady Murray at 183? I thought he'd be a lot higher than that...

Murray is only 5'9" 160. The really good news is he probably will be at UND all 4 years!!!!

Actually, I believe Brady is a bit bigger than that with a year in the BCHL under his belt. INCH has him listed at 5'11" and about 178(?) lbs. He's projected to be drafted in the 7th round, which if true will probably keep him at UND for 3-4 years, unless he really turns it up. I think he'll do well paired with Parise again. ;)

As far as Parise's draft position...please, God, NOT the Rangers, anybody but them.

Yeah, I'm a Rangers fan and even I don't want to see them draft Parise. Their record of destroying young talent is well documented.

Almost as well documented is New Jersey's reputation for developing young talent.

Exactly. And the Devils' record for developing young college talent is a big plus for Zach. I think being drafted in the first round by NJ is the best he could have hoped for. I also think it bodes well for him staying at UND another season or two.

PCM, you took the words out of my mouth... as I forgot to add that New Jersey, as much as any team, doesn't need immediate help, and with financial uncertainty facing, seems unlikely that they would seek to "pull" ZP out.

Contrast that with a team desparate for immediate help, like, say, Buffalo....
