Old Time Hockey
Too bad the myth is over. I'm sure if it would've kept going, UNDLeafsguys would've bid the $800 to hang them in his bedroom! Yeah.......It would have made a nice addition to the already impressive shrine!

SSSS
maybe he will get recruited & want to keep em ? ? ? He Can't play in the NCAA, he played for a WHL(Everett Silvertips) team. The Weekly pay check makes him in the eyes of the NCAA a professional hockey player.
Old Barn Guy
How does a guy go from playing for a professional team (Rockford Ice Hogs) to playing for the U. of Sasketchewan? Must have different eligibilty rules in Sask.
mikejm
^Perhaps a more important question is how and why would any team be named the "Ice Hogs"? That is hostile and abusive.
Sioux-cia
^Perhaps a more important question is how and why would any team be named the "Ice Hogs"? That is hostile and abusive. At the end of a losing season, the name converts to the 'Pork Chops'.
Sioux_Hab-it
How does a guy go from playing for a professional team (Rockford Ice Hogs) to playing for the U. of Sasketchewan? Must have different eligibilty rules in Sask. They don't have the same eligibility rules in Canada. In fact, Jared Aulin who played in the NHL for the LA Kings is now playing for the University of Calgary.
mikejm
^Thereby proving that professional athletes return to finish their education once their playing days are over.
UNDintheNHL
I did send him a link to this thread and he responded with this : well i have to apologize for my beahviour, I just didnt like being called greics or whomever the goalie is that played there. I play north of the border at the University of Saskatchewan and no i didnt flunk out i used them for half a season because thats all I use pads for as i have new ones to answer that. Hope you all had a good chuckle and I am sorry for my cranky response as well the best goalie to play at UND is Jeep, yes my good buddy Jordan Parise. not sure what the problem was before, but he has now apologized 3 times haha. but hope than answers the question as to why he is selling them lol
