  1. Former NDSU corner Cox with a 14 yard interception TD to open the game. Great publicity for Cox high draft prospects and for NDSU. I knew I should have listened to Dave Portnoy on that MS St win.....
  2. Figured I would start a 2020 FBS thread. Kansas State with a huge win against OU. Might be the biggest win of his tenure right after one of his worst losses. now for a Texas Tech upset!
  3. What would you have done to prevent that many deaths? Send in the military to make sure nobody left their houses? We live in a free country with certain rights the government can’t take away. Forced quarantines for the entire population may work in Europe but good luck trying that here. Also when this all started we never heard a peep from the democrats in March and April about what the president should be doing differently that would have actually saved lives. Joe Biden still hasn’t outlined how he could have saved thousands of lives. What suggestion from fauci has the president ignored that could have saved thousands? Don’t start on masks because even the mandatory mask states are having a ton of cases
  4. They would have done it too if it wasn’t for the Republicans..... oh wait they did ban AR15’s and AK’s back in the 90’s so this statement is straight up propaganda! They democrats would take our guns away if they gained enough power!
  5. Did they give us three home games to start the season because we have an indoor dome and to avoid outdoor games in Feb? I assume much of the scheduling is to avoid conflicts
  6. I love listening to games on the radio, such a good production they put on. Brings me back to the good ole days of hunting with my grandpa when I was a kid. He never listened to the radio but would let me put on the games. We never harvested much but that was ok!
  7. Way smarter than Haydouche too and that says something if you have ever been there!
  8. I unfortunately might not get out to vote this year. It’s not like much is very contested out in WY, some races are unopposed because there are no democrats running. The real difference out here is the primary election where Republicans battle it out for the spot at a guaranteed win in Nov.
  9. Did I miss some thing? Don’t mess with WY heydouche!
  10. If they did that then a Republican president would do the same when the power shifts. Bad precedent to set
  11. They could impeach him because they think he is a rapist but good luck getting 67 votes!
  12. 2/3 vote of the Senate, if they can get that many votes then it’s within their rights to impeach
  13. They could do that if they make the case. Would that need 60 votes to impeach? They might not get enough votes but they can try.
  14. You can’t be that stupid right? How was it McConnels fault that the threshold went to 51? Willful ignorance or you just can’t use google?
  15. If the Dems hold power and can nominate and approve a SC justice no matter what part of the term more power to them. Using your power legally is not dirty. stacking the court would be dirty and would allow every other president in the future to do the same. This all boils down to blaming one person for this mess. Harry Reid will be the one who destroyed the democracy.
  16. Bahahahaha sucks to not be in charge of the chamber that approves the nominee. In 2016 they could have voted him down anyways, instead they saved the nominee the hassle
  17. If those same senators who are in close races lose, you gotta believe they will vote after the election to approve the nomination. These people are Republicans after all. They may say they don’t want to vote before the next president so that they don’t lose the independent vote then switch their opinion on the matter if they lose.
  18. We also need a full court to avoid any constitutional crisis in the case of a contested election. Dereliction of duty by not filling the court during such an important time....
  19. Republicans have the power and no rules against moving forward with a nominee. Sounds like a full baked justification
  20. Not exactly the same precedent. Obama was a 2nd term lame duck with a senate majority of the opposite party. Trump is at the end of his first term and his own party has the senate majority. We all know the democrats would do the same if they had the power and nothing in the way to stop it! i have read some other precedents that I’ll post
  21. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t when it comes to filling the seat before inauguration. Piss your base off for not pushing a nominee through or piss off some moderates that want to wait to see who is elected. We all knew she hoped she would last until the next president took office., but now the opportunity has come where she could be replaced before the term is up. Sounds like Collins, Murkowski, and Romney are all signaling no votes before the next Congress. Seriously how the hell did we not banish Mitt from the party?!?!?
  22. RIP Justice Ginsburg she really was a pioneer for women’s rights and a role model for many, whether we agree with her or not this is a huge loss for the country
  23. It’s way better than the one we have now!
  24. Are nuclear plants really that economical? They keep shutting them down across the country citing it is too expensive to keep them running. When you research renewables they are supposedly multiples cheaper than nuclear plants. Something isn’t adding up right. I know there are new mini nuke plants that have been proposed but do we know that they are cheaper than wind and solar?
  25. Even if the US goes 100% green will it be enough when many other countries are failing to meet the Paris Climate agreement levels? It will just make our country even less competitive while China continues to pollute the world...
