Cal Poly would be one of the most difficult schools to recruit for. The academic criteria is through the roof. You can just recruit any dude to cal poly like he could to EWU.

Bubba didn’t have enough resources to win national titles at first but now he has much less excuses. There is zero reason a school like UND should ever miss the playoffs even in the memorial stadium days. Being a consistent top 25 team means nothing if you can’t make the playoffs…… I will give bubba credit for helping building out the facilities we have now. He has been a big booster for UND. It’s just too bad his teams didn’t perform at the highest level. He is giving a big opportunity to a new coach!

Bubba didn’t have the balls to fire any of his defensive staff that HE picked. This is an easy way out for him to not have to do the dirty work while getting to stay onboard without getting fired himself

Yes, and can we really afford to hire a G5 coordinator as HC? we should be looking for an up and coming FCS head coach with a solid defensive scheme and coaching that we can pay more for and provide better facilities. Also wouldn’t mind bringing along some of their top guys. Someone like a Trey Lamb type of coach, not necessarily him but a guy in his situation

They should be thankful for their free scholarships paid for by the rest of the non athlete students and subsidized by the taxpayers of ND. Seriously I don’t understand this entitlement. Maybe we should worry more about the academic needs of the university not some non revenue sport.
