Does anybody know if Big Ten Network games can be viewed if you have an ESPN+ subscription? Or will have to sign up for BTN streaming to get it?

After losing in Week 1....I'm sure most of their fan base is wanting and expecting to take us out back to the Wood Shed and getting back on track. Here is to hopefully severely disappointing them.
-
The entire country is pretty uneducated about FCS football in general, as was I.....until we became FCS. I lived in western ND growing up, I remember in my 20's I worked with a guy from Montana and talked about how good Montana (Griz) was at football. They were pretty much a power house program back in the late 90's, but I knew nothing about them and I've always been a big college football fan. And even after he said that....I didn't know the difference between the Cat and the Griz and which was which....nor did I care. NDSU is literally the only FCS school anybody else other than FCS school's fans know about, and they only know about them because of a crazy run of Championships. I now love the FCS and some really good football is played, but if you think the common Nebraska fan gives a s**t or really knows which North Dakota team is which.....you are dreaming. I'm sure as this week moves along they will find out it's not NDSU they are playing, and I'm sure they will feel a lot better about their chance of winning this week, which is good....I hope their team feels that way too so they under estimate us.

I'd be taking the over on that. NE scored 28 points midway through the 3rd quarter last week, at home and pissed off.....odds are they are going to score more than 36. Although I do think there is a possibility our D can hold them to around mid 30's if the offense can burn clock and we get a couple of turnovers. I think we can score more than 13 on offense too.

May not have been, but was ruled as one and thankfully didn't get over turned. He is definitely taking advantage and making plays when given the opportunity
-
He had a pretty nice run to almost get the 1st down on that first catch that got called back by a penalty.

Are you kidding me, you just said this is your expectations for the Nebraska game......" I suspect the team to be awestruck and play sloppy". Disgusting is right.
-
Crazy on how a games whole momentum can change on a call. Really bad choice to go for that on-side kick.
-
Well looks like it's going to be a full 4th quarter game......which is what we wanted. Hoping Huskers pull it a win.
-
Does Freund need to start following other HS kickers? He's going to probably need to have a little bit of a backup plan in his mind even if he keeps it on the down low. After Case flipped right at the end, have to give the coaches credit for finding Schuster so quickly.

I've said it before......but in my opinion we've had many kickers that could have been FBS caliber.......from the 90's through 2010 ish had a lot of really good kickers, and in that time I've seen plenty FBS schools have kickers that seemed average. I didn't consider Stage to be the best kicker we've had, but didn't get to see enough of him I guess. How many clutch long FG's did Glass make over the years. Back in the day when we lined up for a 49 yard FG....I was expecting we would make it.
-
We will have to weather the storm early like Northwestern did......if NE scores on us early.
-
Yeah saw that.
-
Didn't realize Nebraska's new offense was going to be a spread-quick tempo type offense......ugh, hate playing those types. Would prefer they were running their offense from last year.
-
Yes that would be great, post lots of pics!
-
You're drunk, sleep it off. Our OL was not good last year.
-
Those Red Zone stats are atrocious. I specifically remember one time we had the ball First and Goal at the 5. We ran twice and picked up a yard and a half. 3rd down seemed like a passing situation but Danny ran it to maybe catch them off hard and we got stuffed again. I do remember we had a lot of turnovers last year in red zone too. That is why some of us are optimistic about improvement this year as just need to improve on some of that. Still have to do it on he field this year though, but I think we can
-
In my example it should be first down, not 3rd and short. I'm sure Cam Miller is a much better QB because he can hand it off on 2nd and short....and they pick up 4 yards instead of losing one.
-
I hate this whole paying for players thing in general, however it's the environment now and is going to need to be what's done to keep up with the other schools.
-
Get it, but when we can't pick up one yard on the ground when it's second and 1, that's not Tommy's fault. That said hoping Tommy takes a step forward this year.
-
Show me on OL like we had the spring season....and I'll show you a three-headed monster
-
QB and OL would be the two key spots for me. If we swapped NDSU's OL last year with our OL we win that game last year. We could have kept our QB because Patterson didn't do much other than a couple decent runs.

Respectfully disagree, I don't think RB by committee is like the if you have 2 QB's it means you don't have 1. I would take a combo of Brady O. and Santiago over just Santiago. Plus I think Smith showed when he had to be the main guy for one game he has the talent to be that guy. However if you have other talented backs with slightly different skill sets, it's ok to give them touches as it's a long season and 20-25 rushes every game can be pretty wearing by the end of the year. SU has been pretty successful with splitting carries to RB's and not having just 1 guy carry the ball 90% of the time. I think Ziebarth looked pretty good...and would be capable of being an every down back if we were in the same situation as when Santiago was a freshman when we really didn't have anybody else......well other than Brady who was also a true freshman. It does give you a good feeling though when you have 1 RB run for 130 yards on the other team.....gives you a feeling like you just piss pounded them and feels more impressive than two guys running for 75 yards each.

I would say Schuster is a more accurate passer. Studs did sometimes struggle with quick swing passes out in the flat....and wouldn't hit the guy in stride. Tommy may not have the strongest arm, but on a few plays the last two years where the WR had the DB beat and had 5 yards of separation (flea flicker to Belquist, and Maag burning Missouri St. in playoffs) Tommy hit them pretty much right in stride 30-40 yards downfield. Which doesn't seem like that big of a deal when they are wide open, but have seem QB's miss guys before that are super wide open and you miss out on an easy TD. Both of the instances I'm referring too went for long TD's. When a WR is running a fly pattern and the DB is right on him, I recall Tommy overthrowing him a few times.....I think probably due to an abundance of caution and fearing a pick. With a guy like Maag thouh, sometimes you just have to give him a chance to make a play even if it might get picked off.
