The 1991 game in Fargo.......UND lost but that was a great game to watch. Lots of offense, back and forth. NDSU went up by 7 with a couple of minutes left, maybe less. UND drove down the field and got down to about the 5 or 10 yard line if I recall, and failed to convert on 4th and goal as time expired. Was just a great game to watch, and was the only one I saw at Dacotah Field.

I'll revise slightly my 31-13 prediction from a month or two ago and say 27-13 NDSU. Our offense will show more life than we did in the second half last week and they will be able to move the ball a little. My hope is that UND wins 21-20.

I remember that squib kick......that one sucked.....for us.

So what are your favorite Sioux - Bison football game memories from the past? I went to UND from 90-94 so lots of great games, some wins some losses. But being out on the field when the brought down the goal posts was pretty certainly quite the memory.

With all of those fumbles last week, I'm probably going to be a little nervous every time our offense gets the ball like I was last year, hoping nothing bad happens. Hopefully it is much more like the WY game where every time we get the ball......I'm expecting something good to happen. Studs hasn't thrown a pick yet....hopefully he can keep that going.

Actually I can read, but in that case I did read it to quickly and didn't catch what you really said/meant, so that so that is my bad. My mom is an English teacher.....she wouldn't be proud.

You meant to put some sarcasm font on this right? You have to be joking if you think Drake will be the best team we'll face the rest of the year.

We went for more of a passing attack under Muss. Also when he said 2 or 3, he didn't mean at the same time. He meant there are potentially 2 or 3 guys that could maybe go for 1,000 yards because we didn't know who would end up being the main guy, and was asking which one of them do we think could reach 1,000. I was confused by that at first when I initially read it too.

If he learns to hang on to the ball I think he'll get quite a few carries this season and have a shot at 1,000. Will be interesting to see how he, and the run game does this week. Jeckyll and Hyde performance so far.

I'm guessing Jacksonville State was given about those same odds against #6 Auburn last week.

I'm not that much of a gambler and have never gambled online, but does anybody know a good, and easy site to use? I would like to put some money on that one. And I am seriously asking....if anyone knows of a good site.

Well put.....if we moved up Lennon would have stayed and the last 8 years would have been a lot different for UND football. The one silver lining I see that came out of that mess is that the FCOA, when we saw that NDSU was going to do it and others probably would be in the future, we saw first hand what being the last to react does. I think that is a part of why we are one of the first ones to get on board with that. Doesn't make up for 8 years of being in a football black hole, but at least they recognized what happened last time when we didn't act.

No. For me if we win it will be like, well if we had the right coach 5-6 years ago we would have never been in the crappy position we were the past several years, a football black hole. Already feel that way, but it would make it even more obvious.

The funny thing is though, some of those same few people would probably still try to claim the NDSU student body doesn't care about it anymore. But from the article, sounds like their student body is pretty excited about it. Did the 2011 Bison class get banned from here, haven't seen him on in a while. Seems like he was one who would always state NDSU fans now days don't care about it. I agree though, the key word is few and even some people that may not have wanted it originally are now going to be pretty excited about it. It will be a great atmosphere on Saturday.

I agree I don't think the MT hit was dirty, it was a bang bang thing.....you can't completely stop your momentum when you are going 110% after somebody. I think the MT hit by NDSU was brought up because if you guys (Bison fans) are going to say our hit was late and dirty, it equates about the same as your hit on the MT QB. I don't think either were dirty. Are MT fans claiming it was dirty, if so maybe they are babies because apparently they still have an issue with our hit on their QB. I haven't seen that many Bison games the past few years, but from what I know and/or have heard I don't think NDSU plays dirty these days.

Does anybody know if RT O'Sullivans in Mesa AZ will be having a watch party? I've heard they have UND hockey games on there, so am hoping they will have the football game on this weekend.

UND coaches will not tell them to go for the ankle In every football game I watch I inevitably see somebody get tackled by an ankle, if they aren't able to completely wrap up high....they slip off and grab onto the ankle and hold on for dear life until somebody else comes over and makes the tackle. if this happens to Wentz, it is not dirty.....it's just football. I don't think that hit on MT was dirty. When you are going full speed attempting to make a tackle......you can't completely stop in a split second if you hear a whistle.....plus it's was probably a bit noisy in there that day. UND is not a dirty team, but you and Montana can continue to feel that way if you'd like.

1. There is no way the Bison rush for 300 yards and also pass for 250 plus. Definitely could end up passing for 250, but not the rushing for 300 in the same game. 2. I think we will try and bring pressure on Wentz early, hit him a few times and knock him down (nothing illegal or dirty...just hitting him like you normally would). Try to rough him up early, may not sack him....he may complete some passes, but we've seen even great NFL QB's like Brady and Manning start rushing a little etc. when they are getting constant pressure. Not every down of course, will have to mix it up....but if we don't get pressure on him and he gets to sit back there all day we are in trouble.

There is no way they are going to ban that, NDSU is classier than that. That would just be dumb.

Well I guess I'm in the minority then. I'll take last year's home uniforms over these. They are too tight, shoulder pads pop out after every play. These uniforms look like a uniform from Southeast Louisiana State or something like that. I'm glad everybody else likes them and the players, but I honestly don't care for them. As long as we win though I don't care.

Think they need to do some catch em drills this week to hold on to those picks, we can't drop those next week and in Big Sky play.
