I agree, I was excited when I came on tonight to see two new pages of activity to read up on, but then realized it was mostly kingranch bragging about NDSU's perfection.

Wentz is a big kid and has the tools, but having the tools....and using the tools are two different things. He is in a run first offense, which should really boost his completion percentage because teams are expecting the run so when he does throw he should be able to pick them apart. He could put it all together and have a great year next year, but he definitely needs to improve a lot before sitting on the bench on the NFL. I've only watched a little of him, some say he's not that accurate at times? I don't think you can really teach accuracy can you? I'm not a football coach or QB expert or anything, I'm sure mechanics can be improved...but it kind of seems like you either have accuracy or you don't? I'll let one of the football guru's here elaborate on that, however we could probably ask Tim Tebow. He does apparently have the tools though, so we will see if he puts it all together. If he improves even more next year I'm sure he'll get a shot at some training camps because of his size etc., I'll wish him luck.

Nice win and nice way to finish the year, and nice to get that not being able to win on the road monkey off our back.

Just a guess....on 3rd and 8 or more......our defense has given up probably10-15 first downs this year, and our offense has maybe picked up 1 or 2. That needs to change a little next year.

Our offense is just flat out inept on 3rd and long.

QB draw is what I was thinking he might call, I like the call...just didn't work.

Even though giving up that long TD sucked, will be good to see how we respond.

And we have some real audio now with announcers too....much better!

Next year we have to be able to convert some third and longs now and then.

And...that is why we have run draw plays on 3rd and long.

You can tell the coaches have told Studsrud to just take a sack and not throw the ball up and get a pick, which is fine. But at some point he has to be able to find an open spot to throw it to, to avoid taking a 10 yard sack. It looked like he could have dumped that ball off somewhere instead of taking a sack. That sack basically screwed up the entire drive. P.S. I hope the regular announcer called in sick this morning and they pulled this guy in off the street or something.

I agree....good play calling so far, great drive. It's so much easier when you are rattling off 4-5 yards a crack on the ground.

Looks like audio on the feed is going to be an issue today, is the audio cutting out for you guys too? I'd rather have the audio than the video be cutting out though.

UND 20 UNC 17 That is what I am hoping for to get our first road win. However with our history of playing poor on the road, a young QB and it sounds like they like to throw the ball, it won't surprise me at all if they score first and we are behind the whole game.
