I liked the bracket a few weeks ago that had us playing Western Illinois at home in the first round. One bye week at the end of the regular season for some rest and a winnable home game to get that first playoff win. However if we end up 9th or 10th and have to go to SDSU or Montana that totally blows. Given that I'm hoping we can get a seed, get a nice rest and deal with potential rust and get a home game.

Who would have thought at the end of the 3rd quarter against South Dakota, that we would be 8-2.

If Studs is 100% I expect to win next week. If Bartels plays it's likely going to be a very close game. I'll still be expecting to win it, but it's not going to be easy. Actually even if Studs plays it's probably going to be a pretty close game. NAU is playing some really good football right now.

NAU up 33-20 at Weber State with 4 minutes left.........will be a big game next Saturday, and a very tough one.

Was kind of funny listening to the announcers after they thought the mic was off. The one guy said 10 straight wins in the conference for UND going back to last year, and the other guy said.......they're a solid team. The Sacramento announcers were also saying how good we looked. Hopefully the committee will be able to see some of those same things.

It sure would have been nice if that call wasn't over turned as a 30-7 win would have looked a little better. However I will take the win.....we are in!!

I agree, I'm ok keeping him in there. He's definitely not a great QB but I think he has confidence and experience, and I think he can make a couple timely throws and manage the game to a win today. That is all we need.

How big is the crowd? Are they all standing up the whole time their team is on defense and yelling?

I'm ok with the play calling so far, except for that series of plays when we had 1st and goal at the 5...that was ugly.

You mean down to the level of a 5-3 team, when we are on the road with our backup QB? Honestly I just want to win, even if it's by 1 point this week.

How so? Or is that just the token announcer sucks comment that every Big Sky teams fans say when watching a road game.

Exactly, I was predicting the delayed run to Brady on 3rd and 8......I was totally ok with us running on 3rd and 8 in that particular situation because if we just got close we could go for it.
