Remember back when we had Dressler and every time the other team punted.....we all got excited because we hoped he would take it to the house. Now we just pray to god the ball doesn't bounce 20 yards down field, or there isn't a muffed punt to turn the ball over. Aren't we suppose to be up a level and have better players now?

I was thinking this as well, if he is back the last couple of weeks and gets in a groove.....they could be below .500 and still be a pretty formidable team with him winging it around. If he is back for that game, I'm going to be nervous going into that game. Still think we'd be able to win....but it could end up being a barn burner.

Which is exactly my point, I wouldn't want to play our first round game against somebody we'd match up against roughly the same we'd match up against the # 1 seed and 5 time defending champions. I'm hoping we are in the top 14 or so....so hopefully we'd get somebody rated below us, but I know location is an issue as they like to keep those first round games regional.

I hope MT gets a top 8 bid so that there would not be a chance we'd get matched up with them in the first round. That would probably be the worst possible draw for us in the first round. Not that we couldn't win.....but they are certainly not an ideal match up for us.

Where did you read those compliants...on here? We were commenting on how funny they were, and I don't think people meant it in a bashing way.......more in a good way. They were knowledgeable on the game when talking about the game, and entertaining when we were up by 30 and the game was already over. If you were talking about that you read it on here, I think you totally misinterpreted what people were saying.

Announcer just now said it was, so yes that is exactly why he shouldn't be in the game at this point.

The backup needs some game reps at some point though. He can hand the ball off just as well...get him a feel for a real game. He may be needed at some point when it counts.

I think he will this next series.....he better. But yeah I would have liked to have seen him on the last one.

How about on one of the breaks with a few minutes to go in the first half during a break, he thought the mic was off.....and he said if he was defensive coordinator that he'd tell his guys that instead of playing A gap, or B gap like you are suppose to....he'd tell them to scrap that and just run around hahaha

I agree....keep him on bench rest of the game now for sure....I'd say play Gordon the rest of the way...and rest Brady, just but Brady back in when Gordon needs a rest.

I hope Studs doesn't run at all in the second half, and if we keep it going, is out of the game resting in the 4th quarter.

Feel better now......we were dominating them and they were still in the game, now at least the score reflects things a bit better now. Gotta keep it up. I feel maybe a pick coming here?

I don't care if we fair catch every damn punt the rest of the year, just catch the ball and signal fair catch. I'm tired of fumble...or ball rolls 15 yards down field. Our Punt return is at best a grade D.

What did I say this week.......Seibel makes me nervous fielding punts. Ok we have no kicker, and our punt return doesn't seem like it can be trusted.

Mine is good too, all games have been good this year....way better than last year.

Add a Kicker to the recruiting class while we are at it, he's cost us 4 points already.

It's working well for me, was blurry for a minute there....but that was the camera operator.

The only problem with that drive...is it took less than four minutes lol, but I'll take it!!

Hopefully a number of long sustained drives will keep their offense off the field and also help limit how many points they put up against us. While our secondary has given up some big plays (but what secondary hasn't), I sure feel a heck of a lot better than I did last year playing a team like this. Love our huge improvement on making picks this year too....would sure think we'll get at least one on them. Can't take the game for granted though, Studs has not thrown an INT yet this year......at some point he is going to throw a pick. I think as long as we don't turn the ball over a bunch or a bunch of weird things happen, we'll be ok.

Tank should probably get the game ball for the Poly game. Since we were forcing their hand to run the dive, it was crucial that he be a force in the middle...which he was that game. They are use to getting 3-5 yards most every time they run it against others, not the 1-2 yards, and zero sometimes against us. Great game Tank, and great game overall by the defensive front.
