UND wins 41-27 Offense will get yardage in chunks and the run game will be going and Rudy will look like a genius (But next week the offense won't look quite as good and everybody will hate him again)

I was hoping EWU would beat NDSU next weekend, but that game likely won't even be close. I'm guessing it's NDSU by 20 or maybe more. If EWU could only score 10 points against Texas Tech....ouch. I wish we would have played EWU at the beginning of the season when they were still trying to figure things out, that said I think we will still beat them at the end of the season. In my opinion UND and NAU are the front runners for the Big Sky Championship right now based upon scores and what I've seen. Portland State may have a say in how things turn out as well, and upset a few good teams. Either way it will be nice to see both EWU and Montana get some losses this year.

I watched the first half of the NAU - Arizona game last night on the Pac 12 Network while over at a buddies for a fish fry. NAU's offense looks really good, they were moving the ball on U of A pretty well. Arizona got a punt return for a TD in the first half, and NAU had a few turn overs which made the score seem a little more lopsided than it was. I think NAU may have had more offensive yards at halftime. I remember NAU having a really good freshman RB last year, well now they got a transfer from Boise St. I believe, that is starting and looked really good. NAU is going to be a tough team to beat. I can see a scenario where we both have the same record and have a split conference champ again this year.

Walking out of the stadium after the game....a couple of different Utah fan said our QB looked good.

Awesome...thanks for posting!

Had a great time, all the Utah fans were great. Nice stadium......thanks for the info on the Trax as we took that to the game. Also thanks for posting about Olympic Park and all of the stuff to do there. Instead of flying back to AZ today I went to Olympic Park and had a good time, did the Extreme Tubing, zip line, and did the bobsled......that is one crazy ride!!! I'm still feeling the effects of that one! I took a bunch of pictures, I posted some in the Game Day thread.......or one of the other threads. Will be rooting for you guys the rest of the year.

We are about to catch the Trax right now go the stadium. We have about 24 beers between the 3 of us that we are bringing, may possible barter for some grub.
-
You said you wanted some pics of everything.......UND Colorado doing game prep. We are about 4 beers in at the hotel right now.
-
My phone is showing high of 84 for here in Salt Lake City today, so not too bad.
-
Alright will do! I am excited and nervous for the game already. Cracking the first beer in about an hour and a half should help relieve the nerves
-
We have to limit their big offensive plays, no easy 70 yard TD's on blown coverages etc.. Make them earn every point they get.
-
Do you guys want me to post some pics of the atmosphere at the stadium before the game while tailgating?
-
I'm at Denver airport right now about to board connecting flight to Salt Lake City.
-
I'm meeting up with UND Colorado in Salt Lake City around noon for some pregame brews and tailgating, I'll be 6 deep by the start of the game!

Utah - 34 UND - 17 I agree with those that have stated it's about matchups, and this is just not the perfect matchup for a big upset, however I'm still hoping it somehow happens. Below are a list of my four things that if they went the other way would have given us a much better chance at the upset. (Of course #5 would have been if we had Grady, but I won't mention that ) 1. They didn't get an NFL caliber WR transfer 2. We didn't lose a possible NFL draft pick CB 3. They didn't change to more of a passing offense this year. I think if they ran the same offense as last year, which was more running we could have gave them a few problems with our experienced DL and their inexperienced OL. 4. They weren't starting the younger more mobile QB, he is going to make a few big scramble plays.

Wasn't really looking at starting a new conversation, just assumed there would already be a blog/thread started regarding this Thursday's game. Just wanted to see what your fans were saying about the game. I guess maybe there isn't a specific thread dedicated to this game. Looks more like just random posts on things.

I lost the link to your board about the game against us.....can you post a link from your board?

Do we know if JJ is going to be out for this game, or is there a chance he still might play? Would have been nice to have a big body like his running against Utah's tough defensive front 4. Are there any other notable injuries going into Thursday? (other than the obvious - Harris)
