If this is a look at what our OL is going to be next year, we better not expect to be anywhere near a top tier team. I know these guys are young, but they've been in the program two years now, are they all the sudden supposed to have a drastic improvement next year? Either you can block somebody or you can't at this point.

No, there is a chance he might actually be our 4th string QB next year. 2 guys on the team right now that aren't eligible, a transfer and a redshirt will likely be ahead of him next year. And the other guy who is behind him right now who transferred in, may also be ahead of him next year.

To me this game has the same feeling when we faced EWU when we had to pull Studs off the scout team and start him, it's gonna be ugly.

For Direct TV it's on channel 500, although I am kind of afraid to watch today.

It would not surprise me if Studs tries to tough it out and play if he is at all able to. However if he isn't able to run well that is really going to hurt against their defense.

It might be a situation where Heidlebaugh is listed at #2, but when push comes to shove and in a game like this they might put Zimmerman in. It's not as early in the season anymore so Zimmerman should have a better grasp of the offense than he did the first couple weeks of the season.

I listened to the 360 podcast last night and they said Montana is susceptible to a QB who can run because they leave lanes open. So I was thinking it could be a huge day for Studs on the ground, that sure changes things if Heidlebaugh is in there.

If Studs is out and doesn't play, I'd say you are probably right.

Nice call on your part, your brother must of thought you were brilliant! Santiago can be electric that is for sure, however he requires a crease to get through. Our OL was a bit of a question coming into this year but we felt they would be "ok". But with injuries 3 starters are out some of us wonder if our bruising back should get more carries than Santiago just because there is often not much of a hole, and Brady can just make his own hole. Santiago is a bit like Barry Sanders (not that he is Barry Sanders), but he sometimes dances in the backfield looking for that crease and has more negative runs than most good backs, which is frustrating. But then there are also times where he makes something out of nothing for a big gain.

Would be nice if Santiago ripped off an 80 yard TD on the first play from scrimmage against them again to start things out! Although actually I think I'd rather have an 80 yard drive that chewed some clock and went for a TD, and then have Santiago bust one for 80 in the second half.

Coming out party for JJ and Izzy on offense this week and we score 30 Unfortunately Montana will likely score 40 plus though, here is to us keeping them under 50!
