SDSU and Illinois State both getting beat badly by other MVFC teams, Western Illinois in a tight one against Missouri State. They probably won't move down, the MVFC will probably just have 8 teams in the top 15 now instead.

Culture is something that is typically cultivated over time and doesn't generally change in a matter of weeks......typically. The drug arrest turned out to be a good thing, because that kind of crap on the team is a divider so I'm glad it happened now and this year instead of next year when we are hopefully playing for something. Team bounced back on the field nicely last week after those arrests which I think was a good sign. I am with you though, I hope this rough season just brings them all together and makes us an even tougher team mentally next year, and a lot more hungry.

Yep exactly, and I still have hope we can win 2 more games this year actually. Also I'm hoping that if we get a couple of guys back, we can somehow pull off a surprise against EWU......that would really irk them if we beat them this year.

If that happens I'm going to start a "Fire" thread, because that would be ridiculous to start Hiedlebaugh over Z again, although it happened once and it shouldn't have.

Missouri State only down by four.....28-24 to Western Illinois, we beat them 34-0. I guess our culture must have been a lot better 4 games ago, or is better than Western Illinois culture.

Who would have guess that SDSU would lose at home to UNI by more than we did to Montana, not me. Our season has been a wreck, decimated with injuries. SDSU....had title hopes this year....they are unraveling. But they will end up playing NDSU tight this year, and once again everyone will talk about how good SDSU is.

Our D only gave up 38 points, our offense gave them 3 points. Montana has scored more than 39 points in every single FCS game this year. Our defense missing a ton of guys and giving up 38, and you are questioning that? I guess it's ok to question scheme, but 38 points would be the lowest any FCS team has held them to this year. With an offense that was complete crap the first half and couldn't move or hold on to the ball I would have thought it would of been worse.

So the announcer just said Montana played it's most complete game of the season lol. If this is the best they have, they might need to question themselves a bit.

If we had Z in there from the beginning, might have gotten more than 7 yards on our first three possessions before Montana got their score. Starting Heidlebaugh has to rank up there as one of the dumbest coaching decisions next to Seattle throwing a pass instead of giving it to Lynch.

Why not keep JJ in there to give him some more carries, he was chewing it up.

So either Z is not good at all, or the coaches should be questioned as to why he wasn't in. Usually announcers are pretty kind and sometimes deflect, but they are basically flat out saying we have a QB who can't throw.

I agree, that is the one thing I'm taking from this. If we had a QB, and our regular ILB's and DB's.......I think we'd be able to take them.
