I have to tell a story I have been involved in the Internet since it began - love Web sites with forums especially ones that are more like slow chats ....like here I have had my own on waterfowl hunting (there used to be lots of them) with lots of opinionated folks that would argue anything Most ended up with like minded after a few yrs of fighting MiNE was like that & even ended up just kind of a North vs South thing that has been going strong for over 10 yrs It has amazed me how u can get to know some people online & even be really good friends & never meet them I have one guy who was 76 yrs old from Arkansas & he died last weekend he had private messaged me a couple weeks ago kinda saying he would not be around much longer - we knew he had health problems - but he never let on how bad it was I am really going to miss him He had become a big part of several of our lives I guess I really am happy this internet thing happened or we would have never met at all - but it is strange how close u can get to folks in this medium

I met Dave K once & found him to be OK & interesting - I like folks who are good at rattling people's chains

Having Ed endorse Bergum has pushed me over the edge to vote for Bergum The only thing I had against Stenjhem was his pathetic attempt to save the Sioux name - but like Trump I like a non politician business man running for office - Now if only Trump could learn to not always say everything u think until u have actually thought about it I'd feel better about him too This was fun while it lasts - wish we could expand the site to allow more of this - the off season is sure slow

I said yrs ago back when the homeless were a big issue to sell all the public golf courses & provide housing for all

Funny how Government always costs $ or loses $ If a good business person wants to build something they (like take a strip mall) make it big enough & rent out that extra space so basically they get the whole thing paid for or even make $ - I think u get the idea Heck Internet coffee houses would be cool & could offset the expense of a Library - Maybe 1/2 of the building is a bookstore like Barnes & nobles that sell books - or things of that nature

Back in the 60's 70's 80's & most of 90's I went to libraries a lot I loved to read magazines but was to tight to subscribe Then I got a computer in 97 & then a smart phone when they came out Before the smart phone my computer once quit working & I went to the Library to use one - that was the only time since then that I have been there I can honestly say I have never been really bored since the smartphone came out I'd almost rather see $ used to assist people be able to get online than spent on a expensive Library that have turned into Internet cafes without the coffee
