I loved this past yr - As a underdog - & I was pizzed at our team for awhile - cause I knew we were better than we were playing I think Good Coaches make a Team (recruiting & style & attitude) Plus you have to have the players - But not all reach their maximum potential - for many reasons Facility-wise were way ahead of the rest of the world now (Thank You Ralph) It has been so long since we had a Bad team (& I hope we never do again) But I enjoy the entire league getting better & being competitive (anyone being able to beat everyone else) & eventually the cream rises to the top The Gophers (Minn) do have a attitude that is hard for us to swallow (Just Like how you tried to sue us over duck hunting) We will always be underdogs because of size & population & now that you recruit our ND players & Canadian Players, it will be interesting who can mold them into TEAMS I predict if Kessel can't become a Team Player your going to be hurting Big Time Having 1 or 2 stars won't win National Titles (or get you there) Great Players are Great on every shift, on all ends of the ice, & more than likely Great People Like we have here in ND I still really don't know who was on Denvers last two teams... But they sure played Great as a Team

& CC I love beating a Gopher to Death as much as anyone but it seems these two other schools are / have been pretty dominate in recent yrs. Where did they find the recent batch that has brought them Back to Back Championships ? How many were Blue Chippers as high school or Junior players ? How about some of the other WCHA teams that seemed to be getting respectable last year ? Same with Bemidji ? Do Championship Teams just Gel or is it coaching or both ? Fish are really biting in the evening on Devils Lake (from shore) slip bobbers & leeches

I don't know these other guys you speak of (& I hope they are good & & become Sioux)- But did they play Football & Baseball ? I admire a Kid who can excel at other sports & has Fun & enjoys his Youth - I'm not sure I'd enjoy the regiments some put their Kids through, to become Hockey Players ? In Fact as Much as I Love watching Hockey - I'd go D1 Baseball - if I had multiple offers & possibly the talent - or even Golf .....well maybe not Golf - - - ( So stick a sock in it before he does go baseball ) ...... PS... I also heard UND offered him a Baseball Scholarship - But weather he can & will play both ? ? ? is yet to be seen It is going to play out & if they want it bad enough, to do the work - I think the potential & skill is there - & like so many others (Who the Heck am I) if so many good coaches think he has the potential --- I could careless what we think Did anyone see my other questions ? I have heard he wants to play Defense (seriously) - I agree he has the skills to play forward - But he is so quick & hand /eye coordination & can skate - He makes D look easy - Should make for some interesting power plays - huh ?
