Promotions to me means... car ads, technology ads, nutritional supplements/energy ads, beverage ads, featured ads, etc. radioTV and social media.... how will UND compete with that? Oh I know about amateur athletes getting paid... my son is a sophomore... went from Bantam A to first line varsity.... I am sitting in the local arena before a game... a man comes up to me and asks if we were interested in our son playing for (city with a strong hockey team). He promised D1 scout exposures AND cash each year he played.... seriously. I just said no.

Yesterday the NCAA voted to allow student athletes to “benefit from the use of their name, image, and likeness.” They directed all three divisions to create the new rules necessary by 2021. Not so sure I like this.... will promotion be another carrot dangled in front if students along with scholarships? will they promote the JuiceU stuff? Life was simple pro and amateur and you knew which one was on the cereal box.

We need positive juju on social media with these high schoolers!

So I read in the morning paper that play offs are announced 11/5... not sure what divisions...seems wrong to me. When is the play off schedule announced? We have 3 games remaining on 11/5.... man, I am serving a 2:00 funeral at church 11/9.... can’t duck out BUT I can be there at 9 am making sandwiches and then leave right after serving..... will be glued to the game for sure... GO Sioux....beating Weber would be orgasmic!

I do know... I am thinking of the BBQ competitions which would keep you busy a whole weekend! As in Kansas City BBQ!!! Welcome comments but continued negative statements get old. Like I said, you actually have a lot to be proud of, why do JuiceU fans stoop to that level?

Could someone teach these JuiceU fans how to do BBQ competitions so they are busy grilling for 6 to 8 hours? I like UND and that is why I am here....
