8 days away from the spring portal opening. I feel like the staff crushed it during the winter portal, so I’m very excited to see if they can bring in some FBS DL, LBs, and Edge. Need those positions to be very disruptive players. A couple monsters on the interior DL would be like Christmas in April. Maybe Schmidt will reach out to Deboer and ask him if he’s got some guys that are buried on the depth chart?!

Guess it probably won’t happen at this point, but if they can get Ibrahim - the second best player on last year’s team behind Pemberton - back, that’d be huge. She was pretty efficient on the offensive side and obviously a beast defensively. Mathern showed flashes defensively and has good size at G. Hope she can continue to get comfortable and add some offense. Aumer and Demers definitely seem to have the leadership qualities needed to get this team through this. Both need to limit their turnovers and I hope Demers can stay on the floor more next season. IMO when you’re going through something like this, becoming the best defensive team you can possibly be can turn things around very quickly. The scoring is obviously going to be a major concern. Excited to see who Hutter brings in and for the new era!
