At least on paper our defense is upgraded considerably. I believe the sacks and interceptions will increase for our defense. By eliminating most of the penalties in the undisciplined nature, this will keep us close to most of the teams. Bubba is a has the poise to develop this team faster than a lot of coaches. I'm really looking forward to watching this team play.

I agree. Much closer than the score. Bubba's discipline will keep most games close and winnable.

For this team to reach .500 or better we will need few injuries and they will need to jell. I am so impressed with the coaching staff. The staff is well disciplined, so I would expect some real leaders to step up.

This is a long progress. Last year spring ball, much of what we heard from coaches was flying around making plays. Obviously someone wasn't coaching.

Is everybody feeling better about our coaching staff now? We have 15 recruits and appears some very good ones. And more on the way. Faison made a great choice IMO. Yes maybe took too long but Bubba has put together a great staff that can recruit. I am definitely looking forward to Bubba Ball. It is 3rd and long. On your feet.

Walker has deceptive speed. Kind of reminds me of Burnell. Defense can't seem to get their arms around him and many just bounce off.

With the recruits coming in, it will be fun to watch Bubba's defense. The turnaround has started. watching Chris Carter highlights, I saw him make some nice plays on a red field. I want to see some of them this fall when we play at EWU. Chris will look good locking down one of their rec's. Look forward to good news today.
