Trolls will be trolls. Naturally, just chose the bison opponents and forget about also playing at Wyoming. As a Bison fan, thought for sure you were going to the Kansas State game. You've been bragging about your seats and hotel reservations on bisonville! Not sure their seats are big enough for your fat *** though.

FBS schools scheduled 2013 - na 2014 - San Jose St 2015 - Wyoming 2016 - Bowling Green 2017 - Utah 2018 - Washington Isn't New Mexico St also scheduled?
-
Bison fans want Beck on the field this fall regardless of the cost. Guess when their program doesn't have any ethical or moral compass to begin with, they would be fine with a felon on the field.
-
Summer is just hell for Bison fans. They should assign a chaperone to each player so every player has a full deck. (But then where to find bison fans with full decks? Lakes cant be everywbere.)

For volleyball, the new scheduling will allow UND to participate in one more tournament, which should help RPI.
-
UND is in one more tournament. Not sure where. Chance there may a game vs USD. With 20 Big Sky games, not much eed for non-conference.
-
Iowa St announced it's vball schedule: 8/30 - 8/31 @ North Dakota tournament SDSU, Texas A&M, UND All three games for UND should be good draws.
-
Technically, Idaho and Montana were in the same conference then as Oregon, but later evicted.
-
Another western FBS team. We're scheduling as if we plan to be a western FBS team too.

Norwood Teague is rumored to support the idea of lacrosse. Minnesota is now producing D1 recruits for lax. They could also play in the new Vikings stadium just as their baseball team does. Moreover they have their own league that would accept them. The Daily Gopher has an article on it today.

I told watchmaker that he is a hateful and despicable person and added that he must have had a very bad father to become who he is. Watchmaker turns it around and said I attacked his father. Watchmaker is drama queen and psycho who's actions desecrate his father. This board is bound to go to hell ith watchmaker having a habit of accusing other people of child abuse and worse. Avoid even conversing with him. He's a cancer.

Straight from Johann Most's condensed version of Das Kapital. You must be so proud of spewing that garbage to UND students for years, yet almost all of them are better adjusted, wealthier, and happier than you've ever been. Almost feel sorry for you. Must have had a really bad dad.

is it time to change the GFC-RR district boundary line?

Seems Fargo Davies was pushed through by the wealthiest to serve themselves without trying to pretend to let everybody be heard. Fargo South's area has too big an immigrant to suit the academic tastes of the far south. So push through a new High School to serve the wealthiest and newest area, which conveniently eliminates immigrant students from Davies. Later, when South's population decreases (doesn't have any growth area), consolidate North and South into North. A number of people tried push through a combo south Fargo HS/ south West Fargo HS that could also serve Fargo students in the West Fargo School District, so two expensive new High Schools wouldn't have to be built, but those voices were hushed. Bismarck seems to have a very good long-term plan, and every new or older HS will have growth areas. http://bismarcktribu...1a4bcf887a.html http://www.bismarcks...chool-board.pdf -
Thought lakes can't be a teammaker because he was banned by Simmers from being a bison supporter?

Pretty close. Watchmaker believes everyone should bow to him and kiss his feet and *ss. He's an atheist, except for his own self-declared deity.

The lack of initiative by NDSU and SDSU on starting Summit football is striking. NDSU and SDSU are the top teams now in the MVFC, so all their conference glory goes there, yet there is no respect returned by the MVC. The MVC will never invite those two, yet both NDSU and SDSU continue to be delusional about how great alignment is with the MVFC. The Summit could have had UND if they had also offered Grand Valley St and Wayne St and gone with football. The Summit also wouldn't have had issues with baseball threatening its status if it had football. Maybe Oakland was probably blocking Wayne St, in spite of being blocked by Detroit from the Horizon, but Oakland can't stop Summit football now. Imagine how much better the Summit's standing would be in the midwest northern tier? Summit football would be > MVFC football easily. For all the bragging that NDSU fans do about the MVFC, the idea of making that a permanent football home when the MVC won't touch them otherwise is just whoring themselves out. Build your own conference brand, don't build up someone else's.

Bismarck Century was purposely kept at about 3/4ths of Bismarck's size, which harmed Century's football as it didn't have as much depth. Bismarck High also had access to growth areas to the east and south, as well as the town of Lincoln. . The new Bismarck Legacy High School will draw from the high growth area to the east, so the athletic situation in the near future may switch to Legacy and Century being the power schools. Bismarck Century will remain a north end (with growth) school. The drop in Air Force Base population has really hurt GFC athletics in basketball and track. Used to be that all AFB kids went to RR, then with the continued growth of the south end the AFB kids were switched to GFC to compensate. The biggest problem for GFC is where the GF industrial park was located, which should have been a commercial area. That hemmed in GFC's enrollment growth west and forced practically all residential to be built much further south. It would be very difficult politically to get the J Nelson Kelley elementary school boundary redrawn into GFC's area: it's about the same age as Red River. Other "south end" schools like Lewis & Clark and Roosevelt that were moved into the GFC boundary were formerly GFC feeder areas before RR opened. -
There are several ways that a men's basketball AQ can be revoked: 1. Not having seven full DI members 2. Not having two other men's team sports that qualify for an AQ (with six teams) 3. Not sponsoring enough other sports (four teams qualify as sponsoring even if they aren't AQ's) The Summit's grace period started last July 2012 when they didn't have enough baseball teams after ORU left. That grace period ends next July 2014, but can get a year extra if they show that they will be back in compliance by July 2015 (the Summit argues that Omaha will be DI then). So the Summit is already in their grace period, and really only has one more year unless they add a DI baseball team to make progress. If then don't have another baseball team by next summer, the argument that Omaha is going to save them is null and void as they still would be at only five teams. If one more full DI team leaves, then another another grace period begins on not having seven full members. The Summit can be on the clock for multiple conferences rules violations.

The June 30th deadline is usually the deadline for teams to change to another conference. The June 1st deadline is for NCAA notifications of changing claissificaitons (DII to DI with a conference sponsor or FCS to FBS with a conference sponsor). It's interesting that the ASun and Summit are both now at 7 full DI's. The ASun will likely lose a team to two to the Big South, but maybe not until fall of 2014. Those two conferences will have to battle where they meet (Indiana/Kentucky/Tennessee) or maybe merge.

Oregon offers a huge paycheck because nobody wants to play them. What a USD/Oregon game screams is that USD badly needs money and doesn't believe it's team will be any good next year either. USD is setting itself up to be an Idaho St or Weber St. In the early FBS history of Boise St, Boise St wouldn't schedule games that they would be demolished in. They scheduled to go 10-1 or 9-2. With that kind of record, they would get better athletes, With better athletes, they would schedule a notch up. It's all about matching your schedule to your competitiveness. Think Faison is doing an excellent job scheduling: San Jose St, N Mexico St, Wyoming. All are winnable games. When a game is on the road as the FBS games will be, the odds are much more against you. When we start winning FBS games, ratchet up the FBS schedule a bit.. Except for the Texas Tech game, UND really hasn't scheduled for money.
-
Less than a week to go and the Summit hasn't added another team from DII. Another year wasted. Think the Summit Presidents must have a conference deathwish.
-
That's actually probably very true!

Since its not an election year, guess there's no worry about petition problems wiping out half the starters, especially with ND's tougher new laws. Summer is always hell for Bison fans, as there's no telling what players randomly pop up in the police scanners. Isn't someone on Bisonville always monitoring the scanners?
-
Hope you understand that the quote is what the judge spoke over the players when there were sentenced. Since so many Bison fans thought the whole forgery deal didn't deserve anything, it damn well applies to them too. "Not smart enough, grown up enough or sophisticated enough" http://bigstory.ap.org/article/10-ndsu-players-plead-guilty-petition-fraud
