Weber St, Idaho St, SUU, N Colo, and NAU can answer that better.
-
Sac St has basically the same mission as Fresno St, San Diego St, and San Jose St, but is much younger. The Sacramento metro doesn't get turned on by FCS, but obviously Sac St needs better facilities.
-
You and bizon trolls have been needlessly attacking me for years stating my posts about realignment are garbage. Turnabout is fair play.
-
Adding Simon Fraser and even Minot St would seem prudent for a future WCHA right now. Simon Fraser would guarantee eight games total vs USA and UAF, so Michigan schools don't have to travel to Alaska more than once.
-
All research schools that are not DIII have been working to get to FBS. It's pretty simple, but bizon trolls and Southpaw will tell you differently.
-
So she's doesn't know broadcasting executives, but just knows ground crews, security, and concessions people. Interesting.
-
Davis has been fund raising silently for a stadium expansion. Poly has Madden and the Chargers owner Spanos who want Poly FBS. A stadium expansion over an adjacent rail line would be expensive but doable. EWU is fundraising for the Gateway Project, which will take their stadium to FBS level. The 49ers owners have committed to an new stadium for an MLS expansion team. Sac St would benefit.

Someone who has experience with negotiating national TV contracts. Why would the Big Sky choose such a person? Bizon trolls will say it's for diversity sake.
-
Either that or Bowling Green gets added. Think Miami and W Michigan would leave if Mankato get added. They would start a new CCHA with BGSU, Ferris, and western AHA schools.
-
The Big Sky has associates commissioners who know the teams and schools and know the personal landscape, but they chose someone who would be even higher paying than Fullerton. Do I have that right?
-
So all the bizon trolls and their pals here are saying the new Big Sky commish, who was an associate commish for the Big Ten for ten years, is not other circumstantial evidence the the Big Sky wants to go FBS. Do I have that right?
-
Will your bank show pity on you when you don't pay you car loan?
-
Some one who is an expert an contract law I guess. How does playing a bunch of FBS games each year help an FCS team? Idaho needs the break those contracts, but you deny those facts. A bank shouldn't sign a mortgage with you.
-
Naw. The bizon troll presence is exceedingly low intelligence.
-
AD Spear was very casual about breaking FBS contracts. It hasn't been really looked at, but they will have to sit down and talk.
-
Idaho only avoids the penalty with Indiana if the sport is dropped entirely. The LSU game is the only one that can be cancelled without penalty if Idaho goes FCS. So maybe $7 mill just for Idaho to go FCS. It could build on to the Kibrie Dome for that price.
-
That why the whole moving to FCS is a ruse of a PR ploy. Idaho can't afford to move down to FCS with those contracts. The Indiana one was just signed recently. Something is up with the NCAA rule changes. Emmert knows Idaho's situation well since his previous job was at Washington, and he is rumored to want to help them.
-
Maya can't break even for Minot State varsity if it stays under 2000 capacity. All Seasons has like 3900 seats and it's possible that Minot State can break even there. Maya is a cheap place for the club team so it make sense that the club team plays there.

Idaho won't count as an FBS team when it's schedule doesn't meet the FBS requirements. Idaho would be shooting itself in the foot if it kept more than 63 and played a predominantly FCS schedule, as they would be banned from playoffs. There is a lot of talk how Idaho players are going to transfer if this goes through.
-
Weren't the WDA HS regionals there?
-
Those contracts stipulate that Idaho must be an FBS team. If it's nkt, there would be penalties that Idaho has to pay. Most P5 teams want FCS teams that are within a state or two, as the visitors can bus and therefore be given less money. Those teams are effectively paying for an FBS win which Idaho says it can't deliver after 2017. Most of those contracts can not be reduced to FCS games, as some already have an FCS game scheduled or is no longer allowed by the conference. In addition, Idaho would WL record would be filled with FBS losses, which is not good for FCS unless they continue to reward good losses.

It was when it joined. Notre Dame is the only school that wasn't AAU.
-
It is not AAU like Rutgers, Maryland, and Johns Hopkins. So Notre Dame didn't meet the B1G's academic requirements. More than that, it has been abysmal in hockey until very recently when it actually made a couple Frozen Fours but no championship.
-
Notre Dame does not meet B1G academic standards as it is not a research school lIke B1G schools. Johnny boy is wrong on that point. Notre Dame retains the right to broadcast it's home hockey games on NBC. If UND got a Fox North contract and a B1G hockey affiliation, the terms could be huge for UND, as Minnesota is passionate about hockey.
-
Show the contracts, which Idaho hasn't done. LSU, Florida, and Penn St don't want to play an FCS team from Idaho when they can get cheaper FCS games locally.
