Teams wanting to add 2 more coaches, they would be on ice non-recruiting. I don’t hate it, it would put it on par with the NHL and pros. Using UND as an example: Jax (HC), Smaby (AHC), Simpson (AC), JPL (GC), Ulmer (PDC/VC), Bryn (GM). Using Jason Ulmer at that position, interesting he’s a scout for the Regina Pat’s. Having someone with no ties to UND as a player development coach wouldn’t be a bad idea either, getting some new blood in the coaching pipeline. You know they’ll want someone with NCAA/NHL experience to fill those rolls if the NCAA allows it.
