Have no idea, but they did set aside $900 million for the Mammoth and $900 million for an MLB team. So, who knows what the State would do if a school wanted to build an arena to be used for the Olympics. The new Utah arena is going to be 8k from 15k because they can't fill it unless it the Red Rocks (gymnastics team). Utah, Utah State, and Weber have old, outdated basketball arenas. I'd like to see these schools get new multipurpose arenas and add hockey and hopefully the NHL being in Salt Lake City helps that. But one can dream lol.
