  1. Bryn, I'd assume is there watching Maddox Schultz
  2. Iceplex making progress at Mosaic Quarter Farther along.
  3. No one that is a BC or BU fan cares unless they are playing each other, or the games are at the garden. BC and BU don't fill their arenas for Hockey East playoff games. Every year Bucci, Grinnell, and others show the line for the BU and BC game the only time there is ever a line for those two schools as a reason to have it on campus. The East and Northeast regionals shouldn't be empty with most of Hockey East 3 hours from those locations. Going back to when the current format was implemented BU has hosted 3 or 4 regionals and BC has hosted none. Have the top 4 host and the moment all the regionals are in the East again everyone including UND fans will bitch about it again. If you want to host at your arena then BID plain and simple. you have schools like Michigan that don't have the lockers to host, or they don't want to make the guaranteed money commitment to the NCAA. There should be a rule that says a team can't host unless you have made the NCAAs in the last 5 years (that means AHA should never host, sorry not sorry). I've heard conferences should host over schools so that a 4 seed can't play at the regional they would host (i.e. Providence a few years ago). UND doesn't whine about having to play against a lower seeded host, but it's a big deal when Denver has to. I want to say it was an interview with Muckalt who said in 1998 that "UND was the better team we just happen to play better in that game" when Michigan last hosted at Yost. When it comes to growing the game, only UND has done remotely anything to do that with the "destination games." Growing the game does come with the double edge sword of a regional in Athens GA., Austin TX., or Palm Springs CA., this would be good to grow the game but could have no one show up.
  4. If you've followed him since when he took over the coyotes, they haven't rushed players to the NHL
  5. I thought Mr W2 was going to be the leader in NIL
  6. UNLV will play Alaska. Simon Fraser will also play Alaska. That all I’ve seen added to UNLV vs Denver and Maryville games
  7. Grand Canyon plays two games against Lindenwood at home. Interesting very interesting the arena they play at in Peoria (I read it wrong they are at Lindenwood). Grand Canyon does play Alaska too
  8. Finally, they are getting home games. There is talk they will play the NTDP outdoors
  9. Penn State is not a blue blood in any way for hockey.
  10. MLB announces partnership with Athletes Unlimited Softball League Form awhile back, MLB looking to be like the NHL and NBA and have a woman's softball league.
  11. Funny how the WNBA is expanding to 3 more cities. The talent isn't there for all these team in the WNBA, for every Caitlyn Clark (talented) there are 5 Angel Reese's (shouldn't be in the WNBA). There is just too many god awful players in the WNBA. If it wasn't for Clark no one would notice, but seeing highlights it's very obvious there is a talent deficit. Why is it Adam Silver looks like a vampire every time I see a picture of him.
  12. Canada U18 goalies all under 6' Canada U17 goalies all but one over 6'1"
  13. I know CSU is in Fort Collins, the arena in Loveland is 21 minutes away from the school.
  14. The ACHA might benefit the most with player not wanting to go NCAA D3. I was watching the Steve Dangle Podcast (they were talking about McKenna) and they were talking about it would be cool if there was a Canadian division in the NCAA.
  15. He finally got his tax credit from Reno, I think he has a year or two before the TCC lease is up. There are the Reno and Greeley arenas in the planning stage. Northern Colorado in Greeley and Colorado State in Loveland would be a good rivalry if they both did it, we can all dream.
  16. Thought there was one in Fort Worth, now I know
  17. Another Chorney you say
  18. Idk if they played in Lee's Family Forum but I'm very sure they didn't play at the America First Center (Silver Knights practice facility). I posted it on here, I want to say the head coach was talking about the arena partnership with the Golden Knights, might have been America First Center when it was being built.
  19. Sounds like UNLV is wanting to play in a bigger arena than City National Arena for their first game this year. UNLV and Tennessee State were supposed to play each other I'm always hearing about the Golden Knights building or planning to build a new arena in Vegas. There was the talk between the team and the Golden Knights about an arena closer to UNLV that UNLV would use but was going to cost the team too much.
  20. I'd like to see them move up. I've been making a list of schools and nearby arenas when I'm bored. For example, the Dallas area schools have two arena options in Allen and Frisco TX.
  21. Maryville had their feasibility study done in 2018, the school he was talking about is in the process of doing one. Illinois State is another that is an area that needs a team and fits what he was talking about when it comes to D1 schools (with football).
