  1. So, how small of a margin of victory will feel like a loss? I'd say that I'm good with any victory that isn't determined in the last few plays of the game.
  2. Everyone back for 2021-22 except for Panoam, right? How about players coming in? I don't follow basketball recruiting very well. If we were a 5 seed this year, I think we should be able to wear the home jersey (i.e. higher seed) when we play a Summit League quarterfinal game next year.
  3. Basically what I said on my second school of thought earlier.
  4. Yes, but I don’t expect a team to run the same plays season after season. I’m sure Danny has some new stuff ready for when Brock plays again.
  5. I guess another school of thought might be to let him have some live game action before the SU game, and just use him very basically. Not show any cards, so to speak. We should win definitely without showing too many wrinkles of the playbook.
  6. Yes, I think so. I don’t want him on tape prior to NDSU.
  7. UND should be able to get some outdoor practices in this week. That will be huge for preparation.
  8. Wisconsin win the Big Ten regular season. Last conference regular season crown was 2000 in the WCHA.
  9. Yeah, nothing wrong with them having a total collapse.
  10. I didn’t remember that Western Illinois was the team that kept us out in 2015. Hopefully that provides some extra motivation.
  11. Nobody’s - our time of possession will increase
  12. Just think how their mothers feel...
  13. This has been my favorite part so far. I know some people were starting to question our defense with Schmidt, so maybe it was mutually beneficial that he took a new position. Holinka brings us to a whole new level, IMO.
  14. I was in agreement with several posters thinking the score would be 30-something to around 20. Not as many people picked a defensive battle.
  15. I think that’s an awesome plan even if he would be ready to go the week before. Go for the kill in Fargo.
  16. The halftime adjustments are among the biggest upgrade over previous years. O line is right up there too. Discipline has been exceptional. Our stock is sky rocketing.
  17. Perhaps better.
  18. Couple of miscues on offense (Weah fumble, Schuster interception), defense was stout (sacks were awesome), and we were able to put the game away in the 4th quarter with the Canady interception and 3rd down conversion. We’re getting closer to that complete game. Now let’s rest up and get ready to be road warriors.

I remember 2016 and 2011 - were those the last two?
  20. When I read the commitment tweets, it sure seems like the recruiters have developed special relationships with the players. This is paying off big time.
  21. Yes, I should have put the word "also" in my statement.
  22. Well, then we have great ways to utilize all 3. Screen passes to Gee and Skokna are acceptable.
  23. Absolutely. That's part of the reason why I said somewhere (so many football threads going today!) that our ranking is too high, whatever it is. We've gotten lucky, no doubt.

Overall, it sounds like the match-up favors UND in most areas. Would be nice to put a drubbing on, so we can spread out the workload on a short week.

So it sounds like ISU basically shot themselves in the foot a whole bunch of times. How many of those fumbles resulted in a turnover?
