  1. Nope. Just looking at what he would bring to the table (based on an employer published biography, so take that with a grain of salt). Didn't even know his name until I went to the website.
  2. Good to know. We should be in good shape then.
  3. Yes. While statistically the defense was average to good, perception is that they had a hard time getting off the field. Get off the field, and let the offense go to work in its new scheme.

    2018 Season

Also, what are the takeaways from 2018? Sadly, I didn't much to be excited about in the future. Another performance like 2018 and I will have to question Pryor's recruiting ability.

Good for them. Does that mean the Summit tournament for 2019 is in Vermillion (tournament champ) or Denver (regular season champ)?
  6. What about this guy for OC? https://gobison.com/coaches.aspx?rc=1236&path=football

If there's one game Bubba would want to win, you know it would be this one.

    2019 Season

My co-worker and I were talking about this yesterday. I don't see this as an automatic Bison win. My co-worker agreed that he sees UND as the chink in NDSU's armor.

    2019 Season

Absolutely! This would be the surest way to shake off the apathy.
  11. Agreed. Our record will likely be better next year than this year.

Agreed. Excited to see how it unfolds.

    2019 Season

6-5 probably is a playoff record next year. I think we can be even better than that mark. I also think the schedule sets up nicely: 3 games, off, 5 games, off, 3 games, so I wouldn’t try to get a 12th game. 2019 will be a good barometer of where we are at as we head into MVFC.
  14. there was progression throughout the year, I thought. From what I've read on here, Kostich really connects with the players and is a good recruiter. Probably what saved him.
  15. Maybe with the right OC, we'll never have a 4th down!!!
  16. Very telling.
  17. Thanks, Some Guy. Interesting post.
  18. wrong school. Although, K-state may be in the market for a new coach, too.
  19. Anybody know what Caruso makes at St. Thomas? It’s a private college, so salaries aren’t public information.
  20. I don’t think it would a classy move to do that to a guy on a Sunday. Let the guy get back home, have his day off, come into work Monday, and go from there. I fully expect to hear news tomorrow.
  21. Yeah, if that were an option, i’d Be ok with that too. Bring his whole staff from St. Thomas? Or shop around for coordinators?
  22. Assuming Bubba stays on, who would his contacts be? I think the Lennon/Schweigert/Nielsen mold of coaching is too archaic, and ultimately has failed. Would Caruso move back to FCS coordinator after being the boss? We need a new perspective on offense.
  23. I think the loss yesterday will actually be beneficial in the long run. Even if we did pull off the win, and then did selected for the NCAA, we would have played one more game, and likely gotten embarrassed. But 7-4 and a playoff game isn’t going to force a change; at least not as certainly as 6-5 and no playoffs will. Pretty much everyone agrees we’d have been better off losing to South Dakota in 2011, and I think there’s parallels to today.
  24. And there’s not even a volleyball saving grace this year
  25. It autocorrects to that.
