  1. Dane was F
  2. In the 2000s…nobody wanted to play Nodak in the postseason. Nobody.
  3. If there ever is a coaching replacement (and I do like Berry, but this last 9 yrs has been fairly uneventful, definitely not the power house we used to be) we need a global search. Think out side the box. Recruiting has to be at the forefront.
  4. Starting to look like pretty dicey. That was a terrible meltdown last night. I doubt they can recover at this point. Decent squad on paper…can’t seem to gel.
  5. Huh…if we get swept this weekend all he11 will break loose on this forum
  6. First rounder. You’re either a blue chip prospect or a blue chip (first rounder)
  7. Probably
  8. Loic Usereau to Maine….numbers seem decent in the Q. Barr seems to be a really nice recruiter. Maine is def back.
  9. Completely agree. Ryker Lee/Will Zellers are two that played prep last year that are doing really well in the USHL. But…as good as Zellers is doing, he’s def not a “blue chip”. Should be a nice college player at some point though. Lee…he’s a late bloomer I’ve heard. Currently projected as a 2nd/3rd….although someone recently told me he may sneak in the late first. There’s always outliers though, much tougher to locate the outliers however.
  10. BC with a big get out of Slovakia Luka Radivojevic.
  11. A click aggressive here…but i suppose you are correct if you’re talking about the bluest of blue chips.
  12. I agree with most of your posts….but there are a ton of high high end head coaches that were dmen. Hak was a dman…heck Carle was a dman too and that guy has been on a heater. I actually love when coaches were dmen….but I agree. We need more blue chips year in and year out to consistently compete.
  13. What I’ve heard is that Carle is a player’s coach…he actually allows them to play fairly free/creative. It can definitely cost them goals against during the regular season, probably even some losses. But they build up their O. As the season moves on they teach more defensive concepts, etc and by tourney time, they’re a well oiled machine. Especially his D…they have super long leashes.
  14. He’s on everyone’s radar
  15. Grubb is a must. I’ve seen him play a couple times, really solid player.
  16. That’s the article huh…out of all the things that could be published. We’re challenging the goalies? Who cares if we play one, or both goalies. It doesn’t appear goaltending is this team’s issue at all. As noted before, I don’t believe it’s a strength, but our issue is special teams, puck possession, and goal scoring.
  17. A lot of good kids are coming out of that school again. Really missing that JP Parise pipeline.
  18. Even bump…20 in 20, not spectacular considering he went off on us. But he sure looked the part this past weekend.
  19. Haha you mean 10 in 18? Either way not awesome numbers. They’d be average on our subpar team.
  20. Have we had unreal goaltending…no. But that’s far from our issue.
  21. He’s actually not having a great year at WMU.
  22. WAY too soon.
  23. I noticed that too. They didn’t seem overly energized. Tough times for sure.
  24. The biggest issue is all our players are having subpar years. Typically it can be a 1-2 or 2-3 key players having off years…but no one on this team is having a good year outside of Livinavage or Wiebe. No one. When everyone is having an off year you have to start asking why. We turned Bump away and he went off against us. He isn’t really that close to the prospect Perron is (was)….you start asking what’s going on?
  25. It only matter if he signed some soft of contract. Many of those leagues you can get called up to play on an affiliate type development deal. But it isn’t a full contract.
