gutted for lindberg, he should have been drafted. Ntdp backfires for some. He’ll go next year. The 07 ntdp squad was down this past year and impacted a lot of them. He should go next year. edit: I just heard that zero defensemen under 6 ft were drafted

With Simpson its overall compete…and defensive awareness. Serious flaws to be honest. He’s a wizard in the ozone and his shot is what I would label as “special” but there are colossal red flags.

Agreed. I mean the full blown blue chips will blue chip…but I also remember folks on this forum bashing Michigan and BU for all their young players. As a reminder, some of these kids coming in will under achieve. College is a different (heavier) game.

It is a decent situation here….but there are other schools that have great facilities, other great recruits (even higher rated recruits), and have other things to offer. Not to play Debbie downer but it isn’t 2008 anymore. Our recruiters have to work They’ve done a solid job so far. Need to keep it going.

After NDTP? I’d say he’s either going back to NDTP or going to the dub next year. He’s a high ender. He’ll be playing college hockey as a true freshman.

Need two F’s now. And given both will most likely be young…they’ll have to be pretty good. I’m hoping they don’t bring in Simpson/Schultz. Not because I don’t like them, but more due to them needing more Jr seasoning as offensive producers.

If we aren’t able to grab another blue chip F, they should be after Oasiz Weisblatt out of Medicine Hat. Heart and soul guy, captain, and seemed to have put up big numbers as an overager. Academics may be an issue.

At this point, there should always be concern.

Agreed curious how the ntdp will factor into all this. I was really hoping the USHL would cap the number of 20 year olds like the CHL leagues. Overagers still developing would need to spend some time in the NA….which is fine.
