I went last night, although my squad lost it was a pretty crazy atmosphere. I have never been to a rink so loud before.
-
Hawks might need to consider playing their backup....3 weak goals.
-
Weak goal....Crawford had to have that
-
I think the Kings may get this done. Probably in 5 or 6 games.
-
Robby jackson just won USHL rookie of the year....I wonder if the Sioux would be after him? However, I'm sure every team is after him. He's only 16 years old. He's got BC written all over him
-
Haha, I think I understood what he was trying to say, but that was funny right there.

They were making fun of "Dakota University" for using a Native American mascot for the benefits of our sports program. It'll be on YouTube soon I'm guessing.
-
I have no clue where to post this but und was just on family guy....for all the wrong reasons.
-
I remember when the chi local media used to throw Crawford under the bus all the time. Niemi and emery had awesome numbers in chi too.
-
Yeah the devils had a great neutral zone trap. The trap in the Olympics started there and carried all the way back into the d zone.
-
Haha no disrespect but this is getting ridiculous....that was an unfortunate tip at the hash marks. Do you realize how close the hash marks are? Either way im out. Continue to make these crazy posts. You'll give me a laugh when he does actually give up a bad one.
-
Which one? The one he absolutely robbed hossa on then a wild dman let toews in clean (with koivu loafing) or the one that tipped off parise's stick? Haha
-
Ok I get it....no matter what you aren't giving the guy an inch. I get it.

Not sure it got popular with the big skating teams. Nowadays most team have great skating teams and everyone simply traps on the big ice. It's actually easier to defend. In the old days small fast guys used to wheel around the pylons.
-
Not a rule change but I heard mn is thinking about going back to nhl sized ice. This years Olympics, although very exciting to me for various reasons, really killed the big ice idea. I agree it's too big and watching traps on the big sheet is like watching soccer.

Agreed, he is so good.

I also agree that having bryz in net would make me nervous. When I found out he was starting I wasn't unhappy. I am definitely not a huge fan of the guy but I also kind if feel bad for him. He put up great numbers for Phoenix for 3-4 years I believe and was one of the top goalies in the league, that team was built around defense though as it is tought to attract super stars to that market. He then got sent to the flyers....a death zone to all goalies. Then he went to the oilers (not sure if there was a stop in between) and the oilers literally play no D. So in conclusion, when the wild picked him up I was interested to see if he could regain his old form. I have definitely seen ups and downs with him.

I agree kuemper would give them a better chance to win. I was speaking about last nights game only. It is my opinion that bryz wasn't the reason they lost and that 3 of the four goals were definitely not his fault. The wild did play better but they didn't win....that happens. When the hawks got down 2 to the blues I thought it was most likely over. I really didn't blame the refs, or the goalie or anyone for that matter. I simply was thinking the blues are a really good team. To me living in the cities, it appears that there are tons of excuses being made when the wild lose. Maybe it was that the cards simply weren't in there favor rather than their goalie losing them the game. Who's knows it's just my opinion....that's all.
-
FYI the second goal was unstoppable unless someone would have picked up Kane on the back door. I am no fan of bryz but what I am starting to see is that wild fans seem like to to find a reason why they lose rather than just accepting the fact they will lose games every so often. First it's the refs, then it's the goalie, what will be the excuse next time. Who knows. The blues gave the farm for miller and look at how that turned out. What mysterious goalie are wild fans looking for? If there is one hole it is the lack of top notch defenseman they have after suter. Brodin will be nice, spurgeon is a nice pp guy but overall they are thin. That's why they will most likely get bounced. I could be wrong, but that's how I see it playing out.
-
So you did it for a chick, I guess that works . In all honesty I am not a bruins hater. I like the way their team is built. I also like some if their players a lot.
-
Hey all I was saying was bryz did not lose that game for him. Do I think he starts next game....for the wilds sake I hope they can play someone better. They are simply playing a very good team that will score at least 3-4 goals per game no matter which tendy is in net. FYI hawks fan here.

'93...my dad's very player was steady eddy and he pushed the hawks on me hard. I had the starter jacket too (mostly because of the logo) inherently I was forced to cheer for the team. I had to cheer for some team, there was no wild and lord knows I'm not going to be caught dead cheering for a NY or Boston team.

I grew up in nd so the high school hockey wasn't overy competitive at least as it compares to mn
