  1. Looks good. These training methods reminded me of when the Ukraines came to GF to train us and play our all star teams. The kids were literally forced to train year round....they looked miserable, although they were very good. Later it came out that they were abused by their coach. Pretty unfortunate.
  2. I have been confused by this for awhile. Let me first say that I too believe Rocco will be back for next year, but after that he's gone. The one thing I have been analyzing are the points his line-mates are getting. Typically if one guy is running away with point totals for his particular team his line-mates are chipping in at somewhat of a consistent rate. That is the case with almost every team in hockey at every level. The only exception I guess would be if a teams leading scorer played with different players on the pp than he played with at full strength....and he put up substantial pp pts. This is not the case with Rocco; he leads our team in pts by a decent margin and his linemates are no where in sight. I am honestly starting to think Hak is doing that on purpose to somehow balance his lines. In that case, I give Rocco tons of credit. If he played with two better, more offensive, players his pt totals would be much better in my honest opinion. But if Hak did, there would be a major gap after the first line that this team could not compensate for. Again, I give Rocco props for accepting that role while still producing as this teams top pt getter.
  3. Not sure about that....Boston is pretty deep at the goalie position. I believe their backup has even played great this year. Subban was highly drafted I think it's safe to say Zane comes back.
  4. Bold....I like it.
  5. There is a pretty big argument going on Facebook right now about all this. I have friends with native heritage arguing with friends which support the nickname.
  6. Wow that was awesome!
  7. Agreed, some of his questions were quite odd. Hak answered them well though.
  8. Come on Dave, I want some predictions.
  9. Dane was a tad gritty but not as skilled as the rest. Morgan was not at all gritty, he was a mobile dman. Alex was very gritty but had size. Jonny is the smallest out of all of them. The rest were around six foot and lean, Alex was the exception. He bulked up quite a bit.
  10. Was that Wilcox? I would be quite a bit older than him
  11. Haha...you still don't get it so you.
  12. Great guy great teacher....rip
  13. I'm family friends with them. His dad did play bball out there.
  14. You are very wrong....grant is from gf not EGF
  15. No idea but I played for the jr Sioux when I was in middle school.
  16. No Potulny? From what I hear he has a huge part in pulling kids to Minny. May be a tad young I guess.
  17. That's why I have been saying. Everyone seems to think Simonson will be this gritty, more physical forward. When I watched him, he seemed more skilled to me. He is also not that big. Although he had 100+ pims...most of them were game misconducts
  18. I agree with the und players. I don't think minny loses anyone. I can't remember if BC has two seniors on that top line however both players will leave....and I'm not taking about gudreau, he'll be back. Union will loses shayne G.
  19. I think the gophers are a more consistent team....that's all. They find ways not to lose and that is a very good team characteristic. However, if both teams are playing well or bad for that matter it's a wash. The talent is very similar.
