  1. I'm interested for sure....message me. Not sure if I can take three though as I would not be able to get rid of it. I only need two...either way message me. Edit: Actually I may be able to take 3 depending on price.
  2. Earliest stats on ludwig, that I can find, start with UND. His numbers while at UND were not bad at all for a stay at home defenseman. His senior year he had 31 pts in 47 games. I was not trying to bash this kid at all, he's obviously got talent or we would have never given him an offer to begin with. I typically see where even the stay at home defensemen will hav decent numbers until the hit some sort of wall (as they move up from league to league). Even Macwilliam had 29 pts in 57 games his last year in juniors. Players peak at different times though, I'll continue to follow this kid. Mantha's numbers are only slightly better however he is in a much tougher league.
  3. So what is the story with Pelnik? Obviously he is a defensive defensman however those numbers are just plain unlucky, doesn't he ever fire the puck. Many of you know I'm a stat guy but typically even a stay at home defenseman can manage to have even slightly below decent numbers in juniors (especially in an offensive league such as the bchl). I just wonder how his game will translate to the college level. On a positive note he is relatively young and if the weight on that site is accurate I'm guessing he has some filling out to do. He may be pretty raw and more of a project.
  4. I tend to go against the grain on certain topics now and then and I have not been kicked off this site....yet It's probably the things you say. Like making a snide comment about the Simonson's family wealth even though you later claim to be friends with them. Many of your posts seem to be coherant and with thought (ex. Rocco), then you go off the deep end with some super odd thought (that his religion has something to do with his talent). You must get your jollies off from making people mad. I have seen all your comments and I typically choose not to respond to the crazy ones knowing you are simply looking to stir the pot (except the Simonson comment). I have also resonded to numerous posts of yours that are coherant....even if I don't agree with them. It is pretty easy to tell which of your posts are real and which you simply want to piss people off.
  5. I wonder if we'll get it on one of the dish sports channels here in the Cities.
  6. I am going to put it out there that WHEN Rocco leaves he will at least play multiple seasons in the AHL and never play in the ECHL. I am not saying he is a sure fire NHLer, due to his size, however he is not going to play in the E. He'll most likely end up in Europe. But I hope he puts it all together and makes it to the Show.
  7. Schmaltz, to me, is not a 100% lock. If he creeps into the top 15 I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If J. Schaltz stays for next year I think there would be a much better chance of Nick coming. If J. Schmaltz leaves I would think there would be a strong chance Nick goes to the CHL for two years.
  8. I thought you were saying he wasn't an AHL player....sorry. I do agree with you, he has to come back next year and continue to develope his playmaking ability. I bet he finishes the year better than a pt/gm which is very good in this league. I thought Rocco would put up numbers in the same stratisphere as Jonny Hockey but so far not even close. I just remember all the chances he got last year and all the pipes he hit.
  9. Are you talking about Rocco? Rocco could play in the AHL. In regards to your third sentence....I'm sure a ton. However, reverse that....how many second round picks have played in the AHL? Also, he was the first pick in the second round.
  10. Completely forgot about Olson....I really liked his numbers too. Forgot about Simonson however I do not think he will play much, if at all, his first year. I would not be opposed to Gersich playing another year in juniors....he was a Soph in high school last year so obviously he was accelerating his schooling. Who is G. Johnson? Also, I have a hard time figuring out where Voltin and Rowe fit in....they'll most likely need to play more juniors....which could not hurt their development has they are not excelling in that league.
  11. Nice, Hak must make sure Schmaltz comes....and stays. I was somewhat worried about Poganski and Wilkie however they have sure picked it up as of late. I honestly think one more year of juniors would help Poganski and Wilkie so much. Rodwell and Mitch Mac are the only forwards leaving and with Schmaltz and Gersich coming in I think it would be a mistake for them to come....or at least not the greatest idea. On another note, are Mantha and Poolman coming in next year? We are loosing Simpson and from everything I have heard J. Schmaltz is planning on staying one more year. That means another log jam. It may be beneficial if Mantha stayed and played another year in the USHL to work on his game. I really like Poolman's numbers. If the situation plays out ideally with Poganski, Wilkie and Mantha staying in the USHL to work on their game and everyone else stays (like they should) our team is instantly sure fire top three in the country. Rocco would go bonkers next year.
  12. I am guessing Rocco leaves after next year....FLA will talk him into leaving. He'll have his degree as well. I am fine with that, if he stays two more years and plays the FA card, we'll have at least one Natty.
  13. Yeah I saw that.... schmaltz is very good however he may not be ready for full time PK responsibility.
  14. Google Hughes.... there was an article noting UMD and UND are in the mix. sounds as though WIS is a favorite though.
  15. Exactly, however I don't think Jonny is coming on anything close to a full ride. I was trying to stick up for some buddies because there are a few losers on this site.
  16. Yup, played youth hockey with both of them..... and were friends.
  17. I have noticed the siouxs pk is not very good, due to lack of aggressiveness. This concerns me going forward against more offensive teams. Not sure what is going on with them this year. One poster also called out lack of shot blocking and this has also been very apparent this year. Simpson and Rocco and the only two I saw with decent BS's last night. CC came into the weekend with an 11% conversion rate and I thought their PP was relatively fluid against us.
  18. ....schmaltz wasn't even playing hockey on that pp
  19. We have given them a half dozen point blank shots
