  1. Alright, we need to focus our recruiting efforts on forwards.....offensive forwards.
  2. Hey but the guy was right....psu is so bad and they worked mich
  3. Big game tonight, the boys need to get pucks on net early.
  4. Agreed. I honestly think the boys will come out hungry tonight. I think the first and second lines will do some damage tonight. That uno goalie is terrible, we need to light him up early. Still confused on the pp issues....they are so bad at actually setting the puck up.
  5. Uscho.com....they are at 16. This guy hasn't been wrong in awhile.
  6. Thought the boys looked sluggish towards the end of the first and all through the second however came to play in the third, hopefully that carries over into tonight's game. Clarke was the first star of the game and saved his team big time in the second. Uno could have ended the game in the second. Certain dmen have to play better in their own zone and this team has to score more on the chances they are given.
  7. Hot goalie....b Scrivens check out the nhls leader in save %
  8. Because caggs had 13 pts all year and 4 came in the first two games
  9. Yes. They shouldn't be, the big ten conference (as a whole) is ranked way too high due to MN being so good this year. OSU has beat UMD and Wisconsin...that's it. Their schedule is a joke. They have no decent players.
  10. Thanks! I didn't even see that it wasn't linked. I put it in here with my iPhone.
  11. This guy has been our bad luck charm....for real.
  12. Exactly, except there is no way Ohio State and Penn State are even close to Mankato State. Even MSU has been bad for quite awhile, they have really struggled in recent years. Arguably there are only 3 solid teams with only one being a top notch hockey school in Minnesota (Mich won too many chips in the 50's).
  13. I had no idea where to put this but I thought it was an interesting article. www.sportsnet.ca/olympics/why-isnt-canada-more-dominant-in-hockey/
  14. Since being snubbed....Giroux 17 pts, St. Louis 16 pts.
  15. St. Louis is awesome but to say he is a MUCH better pick than Giroux is absurd. Had Giroux not been in bad graces with Hockey Canada he would already be on the team. Either way Giroux was not gettting on that team. That was his penalty for skipping out on their summer orientation.
  16. Oh I see, they will probably see what's going on with Gersich first.
  17. How many spots are open? The only one's I can see are Mitch Mac and Rodwell's and potentially N. Schmaltz's if he decommits. No one else is going anywhere except Rocco and that's a gigantic maybe as he has not been the player many of us thought he was going to be. By that, I mean putting up video game numbers. Don't get me wrong though, Rocco is my favorite player on the team I simply think he has not scored the way I initially thought he would.
  18. Completely agree....Olson is a lock to come he is a solid player. I honestly think Schmaltz will stay to dominate next year but then he is gone. Gersich will be here if he can finish school and Poolman is in the Ladue mold. He is have such a good USHL season this year.
  19. Right because MN only looks for the top 6 forward type of kids. I'm not sure what type of player Yon will be at the college level however I am guessing he may be a 4 year 2/3/4th line players....which is by no means a bad thing. His numbers in weaker HS conference are through the roof however it appears he has not had the same success in the Elite leagues (given he is older). Either way I'm happy with this recruit as he will be a 4 year player, hopefully he has a good USHL year next year. Edit After looking Archibald didn't avg a pt/gm either in the Elite league.
  20. I mentioned it awhile back however no one responded. He is not committed however I am starting to wonder if his numbers are inflated based on the line he is on.
