  1. Haha, I was actually going to note that earlier but didn't want to burst anyone's bubble. Their schedule hasn't been that tough though.
  2. That is hilarious! I was wondering what the outcome of that game was. I had some buddies who played in that conference and was trying to find out what the outcome was.
  3. yup, one thing I just noticed is that Miami, by no means, has had a tough schedule yet either. UMD is pretty tough but defintely beatable. Miami has lost against the U-18 team, Bowling Green, St. Lawrence, and UMD. Collectively, some of those are not good losses. We should get a W one of the nights.
  4. We will be extremely fortunate if we sweep Miami. I'm actually hoping for the split. Miami will get a few early PP's in one of the games and sneak out a W.
  5. I actually think Providence will turn it around and have a decent season. Too many older players. However I agree with you, split all the way. I would actually be happy with that. Miami can pour it on if they get some confidence.
  6. Some of you guys are worse than the guys that want hak fired. Troll searchn. Sorry burd I am not trying to single u out, I saw most of these posts last night, just too lazy to go digging.
  7. Who would they have played over?
  8. What's the link?
  9. What channel is the game on for direct tv?
  10. Yeah he did play really well.... and their was some luck sprinkled in there as well. I, for one, didn't think we looked all that great last night. We were just a lot better than that team. I'm calling for a drubbing tonight.
  11. I saw the game the same way. That was definitely not the WIS of old. They're young and it was obvious.
  12. Hopefully Zane plays better tomorrow.
  13. So I don't want to get ridiculed....does WIS have more than one scoring chance?
  14. Jeez Dave, here we go again.
  15. Thanks! I do like this kid Peski, from the sounds of it. Puts up good numbers. What I was trying to point out is I rarely see kids from this league, most likely due to location (and no, I do not follow the ECAC). That league does have some notable alumni though. In looking at the youtube clip of him, he looks solid. The league looked more similar to Minnesota high school hockey (metro area). I'm wondering if he doesn't give the USHL a try next year.
  16. Haha, settle down bud. It was an honest question. And no, I don't know the answers to any of your questions.
  17. Is this the first recruit we have pulled from the central league? I honestly cannot remember the last college player coming from this league.
  18. Wow.
  19. I dont ever think he'll be a top 4 nhl defensemen, but I honestly think this kid is an NHLer for sure. He has a lot of skill.
  20. USA junior hockey player of the year. He would have had USHL defenseman and potentially USHL player of the year had it not been for Montour. You are correct that for many players there is a learning curve, and I do think there was a small one for Poolman. However, the fact he sat one game was a complete shock to me. I expected him to play a very big role for us this year from day 1. I am actually more shocked he doesn't have one dime yet. This weekend I'm sure
  21. Thanks, I didn't know the Kohl was Olympic size.
  22. What size is the Kohl center again?
  23. Anyone know of any streaming options for the UND vs WIS games?
  24. I like how we're playing when the boy's are motivated. They definitely look like a #2 seed. I know Eaves said otherwise, however, I think the worst thing going for the Badgers is that they just had a two week layoff after losing 4 straight to some pretty average teams. Additionally, they are a very young team (from the standpoint that they lost everyone from last year). If the Badgers win one it means we didn't work hard.
  25. Haha I was thinking the same thing. Seven robberies? There were probably seven robberies in Detroit yesterday.
