This is the most plausible answer. TBH, not sure he gets in a game next season and moving would have most likely been tough for him. BSU is a great landing spot for him. Guessing this was all worked out behind the scenes.

He’s a senior now and the plan is for him to play a full yr of juniors. So no, he won’t be a true frosh. He should go late second to somewhere in the 4th. Taking the slower route which is great tbh.

Schultz is gone. I would assume Simpson is too but I recently heard there was some sort of dust up with TC. I believe he’s back now so maybe they worked it all out.

Blake will play in the NHL for a long time. He needs to play one more year though. Def could play next year..I think time should be spent getting more consistent on the D side. But his O game is there right now.

I’m sure we’re in on him. Almost positive actually. But…as you noted, he’s a special one that may just play in the Dub. If heard he may play for Brooks or Okatoks in the BC next year to keep his options open.

Starting to agree here…we have Denver’s number but since the Xmas break we’ve been really hot and cold. Goaltending has been very very avg. these sweeps against are brutal.

Getting swept 2 of the last 3 weekends doesn’t seem like a squad ready to hit the ploffs. But we swept UMD.

Completely agree. Stats aren’t everything but I don’t see how Klee is even close. His numbers are ok…if he was a dman.

I will say a ton of Tonka’s shots were from the perimeter…and they were playing fairly selfish hockey. But you’re right, we was solid that game and when there was a point blank shot he stopped it. He’ll play D1 for sure

Chan is actually really good. I don’t think they’ll beat Edina…but it’s a bit closer than you think. Edina is deeper but with the TV timeouts, Chan will play that top line a ton. Also, Chan has the best goalie in the state. That too matters.

The Lund dman out of Warroad. I’ve tracked him for a while and he always put up very good stats for a dman. He’s also listed at 6’3”. Im assuming he has D1 offers but I never hear anyone talk about him. There’s obviously a difference between stats and the “eye test”. Either he’s sitting on offers quietly or it’s a factor of him being huge, playing a ton (in Warroad), and the fact it’s HS hockey (especially single A hockey).

Their team isn’t as good. The past few years they were stacked.
